Voss did say it too and I remember at the time getting flashbacks like a Vietnam vet.

You have missed the point entirely.

It is about the fact they were on the up then had a backward step then regained their form.

I actually do believe that the 2 last games last year were proxy finals for us.
The record books won't show them as finals but the importance of the games and the way the games were played out, they felt like finals.

Shame it has all fallen over since then.

If we are being honest, our heroic efforts in those 2 games, with a lot of key mids out, was really more about effort than system. We stank it up after RT10 generally. Those last 2 games were outliers, even though we still lost.

Ah, such is the Carlton way.

You can't blame external circumstances (coaching, winning, losing) for the internal effort of players.
That is for the player alone to change and control.
And right now they are failing miserably.

And if they are doing it on purpose to boot the coach, they are not team first minded and need to be moved on.

That's EXACTLY as I see it.

Not a huge fan of this. The reason the leaders get the big bucks is because they are stewarding the ship. If the grunts are playing like busted a holes...why?

Bolton was sacked after losing to Essendon*

Just do it again

Then trade half of these players away at the end of the year

Or just hand in the keys, good luck getting anywhere near 90k members next year unless some serious change is made

Watching us at stoppages it's like am AFL side versus the Balwin thirds.

The lack of system and education is starting

Voss is at the helm of this mess

Voss such a defensive coach

Deploys a tagged onball which limits our chances of winning the ball

Have said previously I want to break the habit of sacking coaches but the players are turning this game into a coach killer

Those who want Voss sacked should probably start suggesting replacements. Haven't seen one idea yet...and no - no one on the current coaching list is eligible.

I'd take an inanimate carbon rod or wacky inflatable arm man

Tonight’s game just proves us that this bloke can’t coach so Voss and he’s assistant can pack their bags and hit the highway

But Cook is saying Voss is staying for the rest of his contract.

And im afraid he wont want to lose face now.

Only thing that will save us is a board spill now.

As bad as it is, we have to stick fat with the coach and build around him.

We’re all as bad as those were complaining about if we believe getting rid of another coach is the answer right now
