2 quarters of his ball use, talent, spark and smarts, outplays 16 quarters from others.

Jack Martin, Pittonet, Ed Curnow all in the 18.

Ed curnow picked again in the 18 after 8 touches in reserves !!

No wonder there is friction down at the club …
Don't know what role Ed's brought in for, but to be fair, VFL app says he had 15 possessions and a behind last week .....

Hopefully the behind kicked was his own and he shows up on Sunday

Can’t see us even getting close to beating them more selection that don’t make any sense
Curnow tries but is finished
Martin surely he want last the game out injury prone and soft another one we got sucked in to on big money
Voss must be blind going to the well with the same side for the same result deserves the heat going he’s way the old saying old players don’t improve your team young players do

the only thing he is going to tear is a calf again. i'd be kinda amazed if he gets through the banner, let alone a whole game

Mad if we dont play Young.

We tried it against Swans because their KPDs and McDonald were all out, and got found too short in the backline.
Gov and Kemp are good HB's , well Kemp can be. NOT tall enough by big boys.

Dow 2nd game in a row.

Is this an omen?

Where's our pal who lost $5k last week. Wanting to know what the wise guys think this week. Theoretically the more we lose the closer we are to winning buy I think the win won't come until we play a below average team. 44 pts doesn't distil much faith.

Eight on the interchange bench . Are we trying to confuse Essendon* , or are we confused ourselves .

I have no problem if dropping Young is a statement for off field reasons as was rumoured.

I do have a problem if dropping young is because we're confident we have the matchups for Essendon*'s stalls and don't need him.

i hope we dont drop young to appease Weitering if the rumours are true. Players should be professional and learn to play with others even if they dont like them.

I dont like a lot of people i work with but i must maintain professionalism.

Is the disharmony for on-field or off-field stuff?
Didn’t Andrew McLoud and Tyson Edwards win Premierships together while not on speaking terms?

When Ed's still getting a game it's clear we're in a holding pattern as a club, but maybe he actually listens to coaching instructions *shrug*

Well it depends what the priorities are internally, doesn't it?!
I half suspect the reason Ed is back in the team is because Voss is trying to set standards. In Ed at least you know you will get a genuine hard running, head over the ball effort. And that comes off the back of the fact Ed is seen as one of if not the most dedicated trainer at the club and not just that but also the way he prepares his body for his AFL career.
Similarly, it is obvious Young was dropped for a particular reason. I have my theories which I am very confident on.
And so I think he only plays if Voss thinks Young has changed his ways.

And then of course you need to balance all that with trying to win the game and if omitting young is to our detriment in terms of match ups.
