I just want to see us use a different method of forward entry, I dont want Lever and May taking 15 intercept marks between them. We just have to lower the eyes this week and hit up a leading target. We have been too stagnant in the forward line for too many seasons now, a change in method hopefully starts tonight.

Bring Walsh into the centre. Hopefully that will improve our stoppage game.

Stack the team with half backs, expecting the game to be played in that area. We’ve got some good kicks from there, but that still leaves us 70-80m from scoring. If we can’t press up across (at least) the back of the square, we’re in a bit of bother.

Anywhere between 100-120 disposals out of McGovern, Saad, Cincotta, Cowan, Kemp, Doc & Boyd. If we’re going to get some quality on the ball going inside 50, we’ll need 20-30% of those to be won centre or better.

Jack to ruck with TDK

Jack will relief ruck.

Mirkov also can only currently play first ruck, his presence is non-existent in any other position. Even as first ruck he has limited impact around the ground, I’d only consider him if both TDK and Pitt are unavailable.

I really hope we don’t do this again, make a Harry second ruck or drop him to VFL.
