We can look again in May to winning trade and draft period because season is shot

With Hawthorn winning and showing guts maybe they cal leapfrog us in a couple of weeks when they beat us and we can get another early draft pick

Pretty much my take and I thought Kemp showed some glimpses.

Lifted our tackle numbers after quarter time.
Weiters played with more assertiveness.
Cotts.
Walsh.
Good list in 2nds and.some good performances.

My hope for this year has been vanquished. I can now look forward to small and singular wins and progress rather than expecting wins.
A few good performances in the VFL.
Fees like we are close to rock bottom as required before we can begin to heal.

1. Was a closely contested game and I enjoyed my footy day despite the result.
