Nice story - cincotta confirmed to play and has a dozen of his schoolmates getting on board, going to the game to cheer him on.
Go young fella

I agree with the 'can lose to anyone' part. :smoking:

Cincotta Young Kemp

It's a shame Ronke isn't on our list as I'd replace Fisher with him.

Trying to be positive, assuming Gov plays we still have a backline and Cincotta is the only real IN. Midfield needs to pull their digit out. Hewett, Kennedy and also Cripps need to get back to their junkyard best for us to win. They need to carry the load now.

I know I’m definitely in the minority here, but I have the same level of confidence or less in Kemp than I do in Plowman. And I’m under no misconceptions about Plowman’s limitations.

Good luck to Kemp if he’s selected and (obviously) I hope he proves me wrong!

Steele and Membrey to return for them as well, of course.
I assume Adelaide weren't thinking that way when Walsh came in....

Cripps starts at full forward...just psychologically tells the other mids they need to stand up

Curnow starts on the wing but then plays between the arcs in an intercept/provide option down the line role

Tell our HFs they are not back pocket players, try and defend from the source I50, not run back as soon as we lose possession

Move the pieces around for 5-7 minute blocks each quarter FFS

Create some unpredictability
Not sure about Cripps to FF, but agree about moving the magnets a bit....
We've been playing very predictably and RTB would love that...
Our smalls are getting back to defend which is why a quick transition sees no one at the feet of the twin towers... Fair enough if we have one on one, but if a spare is there, or worse, wingers and mids (last week) then the bomb into 50 is.... Errrrr... questionable....
We seem to have lost the variability in play (possession v quick transition v flooding back) that we showed in the first games

Go Blues
Membrey has burned us for years.

Saad the only out, Gov in. Extended bench includes Cincotta and Kemp as well as 6 who played last week. No Paddy Dow and no Jaxon Binns

New year and the same old crap at Carlton where selection integrity clearly does not exist.
How many more chances or times do we have to put up with Plowman and Obrien.

It's absolutely clear now that Dow will never play in the seniors.
He should at least be rewarded for his season so far.
I'm not saying he is AFL standard but how the bloody hell would we know when he's not afforded the same luxury as others.
Binns is another who should at least have also been named.
Seriously the club is cooked and if we haven't moved on from Plowman and Obrien by now what a joke.

Spot on with those comments
I feel for Dow absolutely deserves a go its clear to see Voss doesn’t like him

They need a mid season trade or loan period to allow guys like Dow a chance to play and save their careers. He might not be a grade but he deserves a chance (even if it’s a final chance)

There could not be a more perfect definition of selection-dishonesty

We are 17th for clearances this year...no need to try anything remotely different FFS :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

That's where the frustration lies for many of us...Dow is making an effort to save his career...Voss thinks the future lies with blokes like Honey, LOB and Plownan (and don't bore me with like for like...MCs can rationalise Corey Durdin to FB if they want to...)
