It's like Deja vu at Carlton. I am sure we have been here before.

Martin with calf issues
Marchbank on injury list for every ailment under the sun
McGovern pulls out due to soreness (although he did play 4 games in row hooray!!)
Doc has a knee injury
Williams earning the most player salary per time spent on the ground (AFL record)
Cunningham signs a contract and hasn't been sighted since

And yet dud players like Plowman & O'brien are always available for selection and durable as they come

Good to see Boyd & Cottrell pictured in the training gallery from today

No sign of Saad or Gov though

How much training has Boyd done? If Saad is hurt I can see him being rushed back

Seems like Saad is forever pulling up sore after games but always suits up for the next one. Tough cookie, others could learn from him...

Tough cookie and a very proud man. We're lucky to have him.

According to this 2-4 weeks for Marchy (unless he has a setback)
Saad and Gov no certainty.

Unlike some of his team-mates

Latest reports are Saad will miss. Gov needs to get through training and Pitto should be right.

Adam Saad has suffered a hamstring strain and will miss at least one week.

Mitch McGovern’s calf is a test, Marc Pittonet cleared to play v St Kilda @7NewsMelbourne

Another Soft tissue injury well I'm shocked.
I suppose it's lucky we have the best S&C bloke the game has ever seen.
It's ridiculous

Saad

Are we planning on just walking it out of half back?

HERE'S where things stand from a Carlton injury perspective leading into Round 6.

Marc Pittonet (eye)

- Has been cleared of any damage to his eye and will be available to play

Adam Saad (hamstring)

- Scans showed a low-grade hamstring strain, at this stage is expected to miss one to two weeks

Mitch McGovern (calf)

- Was a late withdrawal with calf tightness last week, will aim to train fully on Friday.
- Is a test to play this week.

Jordan Boyd (foot)

- In full training and will be available this week

Matthew Cottrell (foot)

- In full training and expected to be available next week

Caleb Marchbank (calf)

- Has returned to skills training this week.

Jack Martin (calf) and David Cuningham (calf)

- Returning to skills next week.

Good news regarding Boyd.
I rate him highly and he has weapons that we desperately need in our side.
Hopefully he gets a couple of VFL games under his belt and pushes for selection.

I feel like most of our players who are tests don't get up.
