The lawyers are haggling out the terms of the hearing.

Carlton (O'Farrell) will call on examples between Rhys Mathieson on Kysaiah Pickett (2021), Marlion Pickett on Brandon Starcevich (2022) and the recent Charlie Ballard on Matt Guelfi cases to help prove its point.

AFL counsel Andrew Woods is concerned this will delve into the back-and-forth between the combatants in those cases rather than the findings.

"This is a football Tribunal and, respectfully to Mr O'Farrell and the Tribunal members, we're not in a court," Woods said.

Chairman Jeff Gleeson will allow the examples.

So the AFL puppet Woods cries out the Football Tribunal is not a court. OK, then why does everyone call the AFL Tribunal and Michael Christian "The Kangaroo Court"?

I love the explanation Harry gave for his push. Team Harry will argue:

Its not a strike
Its low impact

He should get off. Its a football action and Sheezel continued playing and had 15 possessions in the last quarter.

He should. They've argued it well and argued it clearly.

But he won't because it was decided before anyone opened their mouths.

Harry McKay's one-match ban has been downgraded to a fine, with impact downgraded from 'Medium' to 'Low'. More soon

If the best argument the AFL could make was to disallow the examples then they were onto a loser to maintain the “medium” grading.

FREEDOM !!!!

Quote:
Harry McKay gets off!

Harry McKay has had his one-match suspension overturned and is free to play Adelaide on Thursday night.

His ban has been downgraded to a fine after the Tribunal downgraded his sanction from medium impact to low impact.

I'm embrarrassed to say I cheered out aloud when I read that, but I shouldn't have to be stressed about not hearing the correct outcome. The AFL could have decided on that before going to Trial.

The AFL could have used this opportunity to tell the world what they want from the rules, to a huge audience, right before the launch of the biggest footy Carnival ever,: Carlton happens to be the headliner act.

This circus was a deceiptful ploy to show the AFL Commission care, when in actual fact they used a Carlton player and Carlton tas an example to get the most media attention. Its wrong.
Clicks encourage the Commissioners to milk more from a Carlton fan base on tender hooks. Prix

FREEDOM !!!!!
