Logue is a much bigger loss for them than Acres is for us. Much harder to replace, especially with McKay still out

Thanks Sydney

So, he's playing.
And so he should if he's been ready to play for weeks.
Club has stuck by its commitment to err on the side of caution.
Round 4 has arrived.

I’d like to see Plowman given a run on the wing to replace Acres, see if we can reinvent him as the defence is looking crowded.

RE: Walsh, I'm kinda wondering if we should keep him on the sidelines for one more week. Even if he is ready to go.

OK, it's AFL and he's gonna cop hits any week but having him run out against a Clarkson-coached side gives me the heeby-jeebies. You just know that little puke's gonna tell one of his less talented/skillful players to line Walsh up and cop the report.
Yeah I don't trust the little cauliflower one bit.

Holy shit listen to yourselves.

Would the old ruthless Carlton be adopting this mindset???

I don't understand the fans sometimes. We cry how we're too timid / soft / not intimidating enough and how we need a killer instinct, yet at the same time happy to endorse resting our best player even though he's fit because we're scared of what the opposition may do?

Oh no I don't mean rest Hewett or whoever.

But I still don't trust Clarkson not to try and pull something dodgy elsewhere.

Apparently a crowd of around 45,000 is expected for this game.
If this is successful it would be good if North and Carlton get this game each year and turn it into something special.
Years ago I was very ho hum about footy on Good Friday but seeing as it's here to stay, I really hope we make a success of it. It absolutely should be North & Carlton, the two clubs within a Blight or Fev torpedo of the RCH. As it develops they could use that to promote the game somehow, I'm sure.

Taking my kids, can't wait

I was too, until the AFL kept scheduling us on Easter @#$%&! Sunday.
Good Friday is much better.
