Add Dow to the list? He’s not named in reserves or seniors for tomorrow.

Walsh will be back by Rd 4-6

Williams ACL

When it happens year in year out, it has to be more than just luck.

For whatever reason, our players are not durable. I don’t know if it’s the players we recruit, the way we train them, our medical staff, the surface, other factors or a combination of those causes - but it can’t be because we’re unlucky. Not when it’s every year.

Voss showed the players video footage of Cuningham wrestling and doing his shoulder. With all due respect its a bit late Michael.

I don't have much respect for DC right now. Given his injury history, he should be showing greater maturity. Has only himself to blame if he misses much time and blows his career.

Poor bugger? Really? How about an immature fool who needs to be more mindful? Seriously.. he has only himself to blame.

Get a grip Paddy.

Do you think he’d never be tackled again?

Maybe you missed the bit about the coach showing video footage of the wrestling that ended with his shoulder popping out? Do you think Voss was saying "Hey guys that isn't the right technique for tackling, this is ..."

In sweltering conditions at Ikon Park, the athleticism and height of McKay and Curnow ensured a depleted Blues outfit that was missing 13 players to injury saw off a Magpies unit at nearly full-strength with a 12.12 (84) to 11.8 (74) win.

Not sure if that 13 missing injured is right. Pittonet playing reserves, who should play next week vs Swans.

I wouldnt think Pjilp, Cuningham and Fogarty is Best 23.

Expecting Gov, Marchbank, Durdin, Martin and possibly Owies back next week's final praccy game in Sydney.

For next week's praccy game and early rounds we will be missing from our Best 23 Walsh, Williams, Cottrell, Boyd.

It might only be February, but Carlton already had 13 players missing due to injury. Zac Williams (knee), Sam Walsh (back), David Cuningham (shoulder), Sam Philp (foot), Jordan Boyd (foot) and Matt Cottrell (foot) are among the long-term absentees, while there's some hope that Lachie Fogarty (back), Mitch McGovern (back), Corey Durdin (hamstring), Jack Martin (calf), Caleb Marchbank (soreness), Marc Pittonet (knee) and Matt Owies (hamstring) could play a part next week against

In any event, that is a heck of a lot of players either unavailable or who have had interrupted preseasons.

Can't work out if that's good or bad or what

No point rushing the decision, if it's surgery then it's the end of his Carlton (and non-St Kilda AFL) career, so we may as well give him months to recover naturally.

Pop it back in and put a bit tape on it

Players have played for years with dislocated shoulders

Let him worry about it when he is 40

I’m understanding why Abns couldn’t trust our injury prone players/ trend.
We are only 4 weeks from March 17 and one more piracy team tongel the round 1 team.

Kemp also missed todays games. Add him and it’s 14 players: 4 best 22 at most.

Walsh is the only one that isn’t replaceable.
We don’t have another Williams, but we have a variety of options in that spot.
The rest are in a group of players vying for the 21st-23rd spots.
