What a great article. The lad has been training the house down so fingers crossed he can make the 22 in fine style.

Sensational article.

I hope he plays at least 5 games this year.

He certainly has packed on the kilos and is looking pretty big. He walked past me today at training and you could tell he had been hitting the gym pretty hard.

Are you listening Stevo and Kouta? :P

Great article but I think he got more than 8 minutes on the ground. IIRC it was 54 minutes but don't quote me.

Don't think so, Zip.

He was on the ground for a limited amount of time and managed to nail two extremely good kicks.

I really hope he can step up and develop into a quality AFL midfielder. Russell and Hartlett sound like just the sort of players we need.

Yes, an interesting read. Looking good so far. Now for getting lots of kicks wearing a Blue guernsey instead of a red one.

Is it just me or is this article not as positive as the Hartlett second year Blue article?

I just cant wait to see this Kid play for us this season. Half Back Flank would be Great for him as a starter but i would love to see him develop into a Permenan Midfield Option.

Hmm...I see that Jordan recognises that Campo was playing off HB at the end of the season

:?

Nah, if anything I'm a Russell lover so push him up more than I would for Hartlett. After all, I hardly saw Hartlett last year but liked what I saw with Russell. Let Jarusa and DB tell you about the old fart who was ripping into Russell at one of the Coach's Lunch - from that day hence I had to pump him up!

As for Campo and the HBF, that is a direct quote from Russell. He's an open and honest guy, a little introspective and very articulate / considered. He saw Campo as a flanker. So did Ricky Dyson, but not a good one.
