My son, who has kicked a goal after the siren in a GF to win, kicked a goal with 1 minute left from a 5 goal deficit. He marks 25 out on an angle. he’s the most reliable kicks. You wouldn’t want the ball in anyone else’s hand. He kicks a point. Season over.

Ditto Doc, Charlie, Durdin…..looking for one point….season over

It’s not a good place to be here atm and some of the posts, whilst understandablle are a bit over the top. Walsh out before the game is a good reflection on our season since we were 8-2. Injuries got us in the end. The effort was there. The list needs to improve.

I feel I’m the only one with some composure in this household.

Williams and Cerra were great today even if underdone.

Who doesn’t think we will get better in 2023?

This loss will burn…will burn our players, our coach, our list manager….and finally, a few on our list.

Thanks for putting Carlton back on the map Sayers, Cook, Voss & co. We have not disgraced our brand.
I see this as the true turning point for the Club.

Win today and as much as we can dream, not winning a premiership. Just another also ran.

This on the other hand like you said has to hurt and burn some cauliflower into them.

Blue skies.

Fine sentiments. It is all about getting better. Plenty to reflect on. So disappointing at the end. Just good enough yet.

Why would this one change anything?

It’s been the same shot for 20 years.

They were both awesome. Cripps was flower huge. Almost got us home on his own. He was probably BOG.

Yes but where were they at the death? MIA just like last week.

Oh Doc kicked it out of bounds.

Cripps had 27 contested possessions. 27.
Short of putting on a Cape I'm not sure what you expect from the man.

Paddy’s comments after an awfully painful loss are not helpful….he should take a break instead of breaking our hearts more than what they are….ridiculous to blame Cripps and Doc and earlier Weitering….really upsetting to read Carltonians turning on Carltonians…..2023 and beyond. I’m looking forward to it.

Amazing game. Could and should of won. Like last week. Huge progression and the hurt will propel us next year. It hurts. But we are almost good enough this year, and as sh@t as it is, next year we will be ready.
Love this team, and the club. We are close. Just let’s not leave it to the last week next year. Onwards and up

The problem is there are clubs who finished below us who you can easily argue will be better than Carlton next year.

The truth is you haven't got a second to lose.

Heartbreak , demoralized and emptiness are the emotions now.
However the boys gave their all in consecutive games and came so close , so proud off the progress the team has achieved in 2022.

Agree we can’t rest on our laurels , our list needs considerable tweaking , we’re missing a few vital pieces yet. Austin has a major role.

That’s another rubbish comment from a sore loser.

This year has been one of our best in the last 20 years. Judd gave us hope. Voss has me believing. If you think the list is a premiership list you have only yourself to blame for that.

Be sad but be proud.

Forgot LOB and his forward 50 entry when he again waited and waited and waited, than sat it on Motlop's head when he is up against two talls.
The match committee got it right two weeks running. But we just couldn't have the footy smarts to get it done.

Yep, just about tearing my hair out when he did that. Motlop one out against two bigger opponents, just a waste of a kick.

You do wonder what mental damage losses like the last two weeks do. I don't know what to expect next year, just no idea. Top four? Bottom four?

Oh I didn't realise we had a premiership quality squad for the past 20 years. My apologies.

When you're a middle of the road club you have to take your chances, especially when you have a relatively easy draw in an open season

Next year is unknown... this season is a failure

How was this an open season?

There's only two teams that can win the premiership.

Good onya be.

You are a poster who hasn’t been as confident as some us but you are mindful to acknowledge our progress in the right direction.

We are back…and our reputation is not tarnished unless you give Kane Cornes more cred than Voss. He never said we would make Finals and all Cook wanted was to win more than we lose. We did that, and got 88000 members who believe we are on the right track

Go Blues
