Just the thought of getting him back this month is exciting. Frees JSOS up to go back if required.

I would be so excited to have Harry and Pitto back. We can even try TDK back. And JSOS for sure.

And Durdin. Will straighten us up so much more.

I'll trust in the fitness staff + Voss, but sounds a touch on the early side for either of them.

If they are genuinely ready to go, fine.
If the logic is to give them a run against a weaker side before we face the Tigers, Freo & Saints then I'd be worried we are not taking the Ess match seriously enough.
However, I suspect it is all to put a bit of doubt in the Essendon* planning. I'd be super surprised if either of these two play.

Given the nature of their injuries, there must be very little chance of them playing on Friday night. We should be playing the long game with these two. We must have them fully fit and firing by the end of August.

Does anyone know specifically about their injuries? Walshy came back earlier than expected and he has been a gun albeit he started off slower.

All the injury prevention/recovery science is fantastic and important, but there’s still so much that depends on luck.

I don’t have the qualifications or data access to know whether our medical/fitness team has underperformed or if we are just flat out unlucky.

Or maybe the number of injuries we experience is the competition standard but it just seems worse to us supporters because it’s our team?

Whatever the case, I feel like we are at the absolute tipping point with injuries in 2022. Autumn was exciting, but now comes the winter climb down.

We've got the most injured players in the league. I think us and maybe WCE both have 12.

Have a look at the respective club injury lists. Ours is crazy long.

We won't know if it's due to issues with certain staff but no doubt we've recruited a lot of players who had injury riddled careers before coming over to us. So thats down to list management.

Walsh still had 30 disposals in his first game back. What a legend.

Walsh was earmarked to return round 4.
Some people took the 11 week lay off as a return in round 11.

I trust our whole team. Russell's team. Voss's team, Cookie's team.
Injury has hindered our projectory.

Pitto just got out of a brace, so my guess is he's out for a few more weeks.
But Kennedy, Harry, Marchbank, Mirkov, Honey are on the track, hopefully without discomfort, and who knows when...

but the band is getting back one by one. Don't forget Ed: him too.

I hate to admit it, but I can see why Marchy Gov Cuners Oscar are desribed as "injury riddled", coz it is ririculous/

Lets hope when Weiters and Pitto are back in 5 weelk??? we are ready to kick arse.
I think we will kick arse with just Harry back.

To get McKay Pittonet back in the next week or so would make a massive difference to us. Martin & Kennedy now ready, Ed Curnow back playing this week as well, hope Marchbank can get games under his belt. With adding Durdin & Hayes we then look so much better if we can stay healthy
