TDK against Ladhams and Hickey may be a major worry.
Their small defenders should struggle with our small forwards although I'd expect Campbell may come back in to add a bit of youth to their backline.
Young will probably take McDonald and leave Weiters for Buddy. Personally, I hope the MC have a better plan in place. Buddy will drag Weitering up the ground so he needs to handover to another player.
As much as some will be horrified, Plowman has played well on Papley but does he get the job on him or Heeney?
Personally I'd let Saad take Papley, Stocker on Heeney and Plowman on the resting mid (Parker/Florent/Warner) and let him handover with Weitering when Buddy goes up the ground.
Callum Mills has become their best mid but Chad Warner isn't far behind. Expect it to be a scrap in the middle with Sydney trying to get secondary stoppages and then bringing numbers to the contest.

Do we consider Young up forward and as back up Ruck? Takes pressure off Charlie & Jack.

Weitering on Buddy and Kemp & Plowman playing taller. Would also stop Cripps in the ruck which i hate

I hope I am wrong.
Go Blues!

I get that feeling every week... the last 2 decades and all that

But if we can win this game with the personnel we have out... I may start to believe

Great to see Stocker back

We just need to bring our contested footy and pressure acts.
We are the better team, even with our outs - didn’t think I’d say that again.

Swans now slight favourites at $1.85 compared to us at $1.95.
I wish our injury list was as short as Sydney's and hope the 5 day turnaround isn't too much of a factor.

1st time this year that Bossy has shocked me a little with the Kemp omission.

I think we need Kemp more than Carroll at this stage. I assume Kemp will be the sub?

Bad luck for the kid but they are sticking to the like for like
mantra. Can't argue that he deserves a game ahead
of Young.
I like the ins. Cottrell into the 22 is well deserved. Has done everything asked of him.

Carroll and Kemp play different roles, Carroll probably lucky Newness had to be managed. I would expect Kemp would be sub given our overall lack of height.

He only got a game due to injuries. Different to really earning it where I agree with your sentiment.

I agree with the above, but just think our options are so limited if we lose any of our KP players during the game that Kemp is the only option.

Maybe Kemp gives us more flexibility... the medisub is nominated before we know who will be injured

The ruck is a worry... Hope TDK just keeps improving... The rest are pretty even...

I had to laugh at Voss's comments about Parker/Shiel 'we didn't talk about it at all'

Does anyone reckon he would need to??

Go Blues

With Young back, a tall backman had to make way and Kemp was the obvious choice. With our preference for a mosquito fleet forward, no opportunity for him there.
