I'm looking forward to the second half. We're undermanned and down on the scoreboard but it gives us a chance to see what our players and coaches are made of.
Clearance dominance has been our king this season but we've lost the ascendancy with Pitto going down.
Do we play man on man through the middle? Does TDK finally get a morsel of grunt into him? Can we get our scores from another method or do we fold like a deck of cards?

Like everything we found out over the last 20 years when things weren’t going our way?

We kicked off with first 2 goals. Late in the 2 nd Martin has a straight forward shot at goal to make the diff 1 goal with momentum.

Thank god we had DeKoning who is playing above his weight. I would never want to be in a Final with one Ruck for this reason. SOS would be a bonus fight now.

We are OK in the clearances aNd I don't have the numbers.

Hope DeKoning and ayoung can halve the contest.
We need to carry the ball further and kick it deeper.

We can win this.
Fisher Owies Durdin must have full batteries.

Have to keep up the intensity.
Our connection is ok.

Can someone please explain what the match committee see in Jordan Boyd? Our bottom 6 are @#$%&! woeful. Boyd, Newnes, Newman, Setters, Durdin and Fisher are completely ineffective
I don't know either, he's shown @#$%&! all.

Don't get me started on Martin.

Pitto getting injured is the difference, it's that simple.

Newnes playing his last game surely?

If that is the sole difference then we are in a world of trouble.

Pretty sure hawks beat cats last week after their only ruckman went down after a quarter.

It can be done, if the players work hard enough and the coaching staff adapt.
Yeah, Rhys Stanley is hardly Darcy.

Agreed but it’s just another excuse. You wanna be a good team you overcome these things. Tigers won flags with Grigg as second ruck ffs

Game went exactly as I predicted..

We were with a chance early in making it a Low Scoring Ruby Scrum but as soon as Pitonett went down, its Game OVER....

The margin will double in the 2nd half and we will lose by 40 points... Bad luck boys..... There is always next Week....

I'd throw Parks into the ruck. He has a bit of mongrel and he'll have a real dip.

Our slow buildup and kicking long to a contest on the wing ain't working.
Need to move it quicker and use the corridor if we are any hope.

They look better drilled than us. You sense they are 12 months ahead of us in system.

Wait, what? Has the injury been confirmed? If he is done for the season, yeah, I can't see us making finals. Never thought I'd say that.

I don't think we are much chop.
Ball movement is second rate.
Ability to stop transition has been better but when you're carrying a number of pea hearts you can't win.
Too many players who aren't made of the right stuff.

Just quietly Cripps has been terrible. Pushed off the ball too easily.

Also worth mentioning that our 2nd Tier players continue to fail us. They just can't stand up to the pressure.....

They are: Fisher, Setterfield, Newnes, Williams & Cottrell.

Our Smalls havn't fired either: Durdin & Owies have been ordinary.....

He could've asked us...

No, it hasn't. He came back with some strapping and walked around but was subbed out pretty soon after.
