Butchered it a fair bit

Yes, his inside work was outstanding, let’s leave it at that.

This is a game that will gauge improvement as much as any. A game we should win, going in as warm favourites, so it's important we don't drop it, as we often would have done in the past. A good win will show the mind is really on the job.

For mine it’s:

Martin in for Fog (who was serviceable)

Cez in for Fish (not doing enough for mine)

Ridiculous to even suggest Fish gets dropped.

He would be stiff but really so would anyone.
It may come to roles and team balance more so than output or ranking

Agree, Martin hasn't looked great so would be very foolish

Hawks looking pretty good against Port at the moment.
This will be a tough game.

Fish had 16 touches to half time the other night.
I'm not his biggest fan but he was pretty good on Thursday, particularly in the first half.

I'm glad the Hawks are winning. Should be a good crowd & a good game of footy Sunday.

And if our boys are watching this, there'll be no complacency whatsoever

I think the two things that concern me is:
1. They can hit targets and apply pressure.
2. They can play like this for 4 quarters.

If they conceed the clearances 55 to 35
And the inside 50 58 to 46 against us we will smash them

Glad they won. We won’t be taking them lightly and be up for the fight. Blues by plenty.

I’m overseas so I haven’t seen a anything of the port v hawks game, but the stat lines make for incredible reading.

Port won every key stat, and in many cases handsomely, including disposals, disposal
efficiency, contested possessions, i50s, clearances (nearly double), tackles, tackles i50 and marks, but still lost by 10+ goals??? How many times has that happened?

It reads like they were bombing it in and getting slaughtered on the rebound.

I would hope that if we dominated the territory game harry and Charlie would capitalise. But maybe they aren’t the bottom 4 team I tipped preseason
