Based on updated health advice, the department has changed the way we manage people who test positive for COVID-19: if you have recovered from COVID-19, you aren't required to get tested or isolate/quarantine if you are re-exposed to a case within 8 weeks of ending your isolation period the period was previously 30 days.

Problematic?

No idea who we drop for Cerra and Martin. One of Fogarty or Owies for Martin probably. Not sure who goes for Cerra. O’Brien is the obvious one, but don’t think we should drop him after what was probably his best game for the club. Keen to see what he can build from here

Owies gift wrapped a couple of sensational passes to Harry that resulted in goals. On another occasion he got in the way of Harrys opponent allowing him to mark in the goal square. I reckon Harry would be in Vossy's office begging him to retain Owies.

I don't reckon LOB is doing enough to hold his spot this week. I was really disappointed and disgusted to see him throw his head back to simulate a high contact. Got no respect for loosers that do that to get frees. Its about the closest you can get to being a cheater in footy, and i dont want shit cheaters playing at cfc. Anyway... his last 2 weeks he has been in the bottom 3 contributers. I think setterfield needs dropping to give someone else a go and be made to earn his spot back with form. Omac looked reasonable except for his kicking. Probably needs to fix that or risk being dropped as well. Newman was average but should be given more time over the above three. Docharty is playing heaps better than the past 2 years.. maybee the co-captaincy effected his game/state of mind.
Pretty happy overall obviously with the team with room for improvement from a small few.

Don’t expect LOB to be dropped. The acting coach seemed pretty happy with him after the game last night. And there’s not a lot in reserve - Williamson, Newnes & Cottrell were the players used on the wing in this evening’s VFL game. Hardly inspiring alternatives (although Cottrell had his moments).

Thats fine by me if they play LOB while there is no better option available, but that situation wont last long if he doesnt improve. The three players i mentioned should be amongst the players considered when we have full list with cerra and martin probably makes 2 definate ins and outs. When dow is available i would much prefer him than LOB. Until form says otherwise at least. Im not totally against the idea of LOB, and he almost does some good plays, but its not really coming off.. with the majority of the other blokes playing so well it really stands out to me at least. I would like to see him play this week and make me feel otherwise though.

In fairness to LOB if I was built like him I would avoid body contact.
He is not alone Fisher is another.

But credit to LOB he laid the tackle of the night.

We have had some great players over the years that ran outside the contest and avoided contact. Bradley and Hoops come to mind.

I think he has 6 to 8 weeks to prove himself

Not saying LOB will or should be dropped, but I would have thought Cerra is the very obvious replacement for him

Williams cited for tripping. Fined.

No mention of McGovern, so presumably that means the match review is complete and he was not cited?

Yep, review complete. McGovern incident not even assessed. However, they did look at LOB for staging! (but did not charge him)-

Paddy Dow had 32 touches, 7 clearances and a goal against the Lions tonight...

Even upper for not paying a blatant high tackle free to Buddy shortly before. Not good enough of course, but happens.

Wasn't the lone ranger in that department... In what looked like perfect conditions...

I thought Fog had a role on Daniels, but there may not be a role this week...

At least we're not
Out:Armfield

i'd drop setters before o'brien, obe needs to stay at least another week, for his own confidence

Clearly you need to watch the game again , if you want to drop setters

The fact we have depth and players fighting for spots ,,, now that’s a great position to be in

Cerra and Martin are in our best 22 ,
