I think Carroll did spend some time on the wing though in the internal praccy games. I could be wrong though.

Correct. Carroll played wing against the Saints and had he not injured himself, I'd suggest he would have played there Round 1.

Carroll did not play against the Saints. LOB & Setterfield were our starting wingmen in both preseason games and in round one.

You're right, my memory is failing me.
He was injured before the Saints game. He was on the wing in the intra-club match.

Played some of the praccy match versus Richmond as a HF and kicked a couple….leads and makes position well

Just a thought, with the LOB debate.

LOB out, Cerra to the wing with Dow in and to the guts.

Carroll in for Setterfield who I do not rate at the moment.

I’d be rapted if we only had one player impacted. The missing coaches clearly isn’t ideal but we can work around that better than missing multiple key players.

I am I right in saying that an additional two coaches have tested positive today?
Sounds like no other player have.

Yep that’s my understanding. Voss, Martin and two football dept staff announced on Friday. Lloyd and Clarke today.

As the president of the nervous Nellie club, I hear you.

Lots of positive media. As rapted as I am with the Richmond win, it is just one game and we still have much room to improve.

Hoping like hell we can back it up on Thursday.

Ukraine; domestic violence; climate warming; politics; budget deficit; terrorism.

Oh no.

But on the other side, the blues won last week !!!

Replacement for Martin at half forward?

The REAL Jezza.

I'm no Setterfield lover but I think he should hold his spot.

I nearly fell off my chair.
I heard the news that the AFL will help Carlton this week.
Apparently it will be assisting the club with a link to the coaches box for Voss.
Good of them.

Is the newsworthy aspect that 'outside' communication is otherwise against the rules?

Some slightly creative thinking…
Could replace Martin with Carroll or do the Dow Cerra swap as mentioned above.
Could also put Williams on HFF and replace him with Willow or Kemp at HBF
Williams can find the goals, keeps the pressure on and could do the occasional short midfield stint leaving Cripps or Kennedy at HFF when he does
Another thought is to replace Martin with Fog - get him to be a defensive forward and stop Caleb Daniels play making….

Need to reward a winning side that has great chemistry. Walsh if fit or Motlop for Martin would be my only change

Dow Carroll Philp Fogarty Kemp Boyd just need to keep pushing for a spot. I like players coming in with a block of good form under them
