what mess, no longer having Teague as coach?
I am not sure you are aware we have no head coach and no CEO and in two weeks off season officially begins.
What hope do the new appointees have analysing the list with Austin and CEO (oops) before then?
So he is not going to have a say the type of player he needs where Austin is going to shoot blindly. Bit unfair on Austin if you ask me.
I suspect that what bmaurizio wrote..... "I’m certain that Sayers & Diesel Williams have had a coach earmarked for a while, all politically correct matters procedures will be followed. The matter is urgent to CFC supporters , but not to AFL.
The lads know how to play protocol, especially when the AFL is watching closely" is most likely.
The press coverage has been abysmal. Most of their criticism has been pure speculation since they ceased getting leaks. Journalists who bagged the Carlton coach all year for not having a plan "B" to stop opposition run ons are the same journo's criticising the club for sacking Teague. And media personalities who undermined people in jobs they coveted all of a sudden being appalled because we sacked a CEO a couple of months before his tenure was up.
What a scoop was the leading story written by a cats fan bagging Carlton they day after Geelong were flogged in a prelim. Does the author not understand that the Cats surrendering so meekly in a prelim once again was a far greater story that being critical of a clubs HR management, yet he totally ignored it.
