Any news on the "Murphy high mark" simulator?

I would really appreciate if someone could explain the EGM process. I have zero idea. I heard the board tried to bring in a rule that they couldn’t be replaced? I know nothing …

I watched that press conference yesterday. Well half of it then took the dog for a walk.
I’ve heard it all before. No apologies for saying this.
As you get older your bullshit wanker detector gets better.
Sayers is your typical bullshit wanker CEO
You do it my way or else.
And that’s fine in the business world or expected or how you want to phrase it even as one individual I don’t like that sort of person.
But at a footy club no.
If everyone at board particularly the President is wired like that you have no hope
You won’t get premierships

Even though AFL has become more of a business the basics off field for onfield success will never change
Real people with a care factor able to detect bullshit and get rid of before it becomes a problem to create the loyal environment that promotes unity
Don’t forget the obvious. This is a team sport. You cannot succeed with a dictator at the helm most of the time.
Kennet is but Clarkson pretty much ignored him to create that unity
Clarkson is a rarity. Perhaps he wasn’t prepared to do it all again because it would be same shit different environment.
We don’t have that type of person at the club the type of person we so desperately need
Peggy O’Neal
Neil Balme
Brian Cook
Kate Roffey
There the sort of people we need at the club not Luke Sayers

Interesting that he talked to Lyon 2 months ago behind Teague’s back and probably a few others
Talking to someone cut from the same cloth
A guy who [REDACTED] off from one club when it’s supporters finally had hope that they were close to the holy grail they had been starved of
When Lyon was asked about this his reply was
“It’s not about loyalty it’s about a business decision. Loyalty has nothing to do with it”.
Try telling that to Saints supporters who put their time faith and their own money into the club.
And faith in Ross Lyon.

All this tells me that Luke Sayers is a successful business man but has zero understanding of what it takes to be a successful AFL club
Even though I am an atheist I pray this board is given the arse and that an outdated prick like Lyon doesn’t coach us.
Real leadership doesn’t exit at the Carlton Football Club.
Good luck to Teague in the future
Cheers
Keogh

Sayers on 3AW unusual questions
Did mention that he contacted another prospective coach today -understand that it might be Buckley according to some mail I got earlier today (not sure how reliable but connected )

Sayers is very articulate and in terms of that is our best President for years in representing the club in public
Moreover in my view he has the skills required of modern President so I am not for any spill

The new directors also look capable and at least aren’t from the old guard

I wish he'd stay out of the media and just do his job. He seems to think it is all about him.

That’s unfair. A big thing just happened at the club and he needs to front up. He is trying to show leadership and take responsibility and tell members and the media what his plans are to get us out of this shit.

We were all complaining when Le Gioudice wasn’t present when we were bagged from pillar to post.

Love hearing from a strong president. We need it…….

Geez damned if he does and damned if he doesnt.

The process has been bungled. The review shouldn't have been done mid-year. Teague and the players were under undue pressure for the second half of the year. They didn't measure up. He left Teague hanging on too long. Now he's telling us everyone he's had a phone call with and who his friends are.

"I wish he'd stay out of the media and just do his job."

That's what our last president did.

End of your rant.

Omg so Malbi you want the review now? This will throw our trade period and pre season out the door. At least now once we appoint the coach we get on with it.

Who’s mouthpiece are you ? No we wont be voting for the new ticket. FYI.

Left him hanging? Teague requested that it wait until the season was finished.

If players can’t deal with adversity, they can leave. Enough of the excuses.

The process was not bungled. The timing of the review was spot on. If Teague and the players are such delicate blossoms that they can’t do their jobs while an underperforming department is being reviewed, then they are not the people I want representing my club.

On your last statement about supposedly keeping Teague hanging on - Teague told the club he didn’t want to be briefed on the review findings until after round 23. He was then given a few days to absorb the findings and respond to them before the board made its final decision to end his appointment.

Agree entirely ABNS the bungle would have been given observations in the report to keep Teague any longer
Otherwise done perfectly not buckled to press demands
Strong press conference and staying on message since
Every part of footy club on notice
