So all the Liddle/Lloyd packing their bags talk was unfounded?

Media headlines.................... :garthp:

.............“Our expectation based on the list that we have, we are looking to make finals in 2022,” Sayers told reporters.

“The Carlton Football Club is pursing winning games, getting ourselves into finals and winning premierships.

Not sure it was Bold or just a statement of fact. With our list fit and healthy and with a decent game plan, we certainly should be looking to make finals. Seems a logical statement to me.

What is he suppose to say............."Yeah we sacked Teague and now we are just hoping to make up the numbers in 2022."

That would help the membership drive. :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:

Regards Cazzesman

Same shit post different day you mean

There will be 4 new board members come tonight with a further 2 only coming on in the last 12 months.
That means 6 of the 8 are new. Do the math mate, that's 75% of the board replaced in 12 months.
Hence, WTF are you on about with your protected species tripe?

I watched the presser. There is clearly a new sheriff in town. I just hope he knows what he is doing…..

Time will tell.

Agree. Some predictable statements.

Would be interesting to see what is in the report about Culture, List Management, Injury management, Player development and Player trading.

Perhaps you might take a page out of Teague's book and bow out with some grace and dignity.

Suck, it up and get on with life just as he will. You have been given a fair crack at getting your point across so now do us all a favor and be a good loser. If DT moves to the Tigers, give him all your support and buy a Tigers membership.

You are out of your depth with personal attacks. Should look at yourself in the mirror before calling others losers.

Mandate is now clear - finals next year or sack the board.

Finding it amusing that the media who have all but told us to sack Teague all season are bagging us for sacking Teague.
Idiotic headlines like "bungling Blues"

And on us expecting to play finals in 2022 "shock claim" and "stunning declaration"

Spare me

Another board member departs - this time creating a skills gap relating to the expertise of a QC. Can only mean a return of Adrian Gleeson.

Really? What part of Independent review do you not understand. Have a crack at Pavlich and those he collected information from.

The review missed the main issue. 20 years of lazy, half arsed, unmotivated playing efforts with a terrible playing culture. Just about every coach the players gave up on by years 3. Same confusion with game plans no matter who's been in charge. Players have got away with it again while the coach copped it in the neck. Means nothing will change. Next coach will be screwed in 3 years too. Hopefully we get a one year honeymoon period which might lift us over the threshold temporarily before it crashes.

Teaguey and his coaching panel wear the brunt of the findings. I think that is a fair and true outcome. i can not count how many times i have been at games watching the opposition just walk out of our F50 and transition the lenght of the ground to set up a easy shot at goal, with Carlton players scrambling backwards and not even getting near there opponent. Guarding grass like witches hats??[/u]

Four changes on the Board! So inacturate to suggest they got away scott free!

High Performance got a whack...... More defined role and responsibilty

This line from the statement today makes me think that Liddle/Lloyd wont be around for long:

"Whilst management and staff were found to be capable and committed to the success of Carlton Football Club, and demonstrating a positive mindset, there is a requirement for stronger leadership

Yet. Timing.

You could see who wears the pants in the relationship now though. Liddle needed permission to speak...

Liddle has always struck me as someone who needs to have the biggest dick in the room. He's clever with some fake money and membership numbers though...

Ok - we shall see next season how far we will get. Let's hope we dont consistently have eight key players out all year.

To say Teague ever had his best cattle on the ground to play to his brand of football is blind imo.

I respect the decision - but don't like it. It's far too shortsighted.

I'm pretty sure my depth is about ankle high for personal attacks but alas your depth for 'Teague excuses' has just passed your nostrils. Take a breath before you drown.

The Mandate for you good self is also clear, find another hobby horse because this one is off to the glue factory and there is nothing you can say that will stop it. Maybe to take things off your mind, PM Keogh and form an 'Overthrow The Board Posse' on the Dark AFL Web.

Regards Cazzesman

How were they selected
The Williams appointment concerns me greatly
Huge weakness between the communication of the board about footy matters and the football department
I still maintain the List is not great
The midfield depth is atrocious yet the board think we can play finals and it’s largely due to Teague

The club overrates the playing group
As I said repeatedly the List Manager is more important than the coach

The playing just pick and choose how to behave and support when it suits them
