Agreed and what was happening at Carlton must have put Clarkson off going to GC and Collingwood too
As I said earlier today gardening leave getting paid 900 K for doing what you like would be unbelievable
Usually good or better but was very inconsistent in her arguments tonight
Was a bit disappointed in Caro also didn’t seem to understand why The club would be going through this process for the review then flicked to poor David Teague after saying Clarkson will replace him the whole year

As much as I hate Eddie mchin , he summed up perfectly!! It’s a corporate process sayers is going thru and he will follow it thru on his timeline

The football world don’t like it , which they don’t , who gives a f..k!! We have been trying to do the footy way for 20 years and we’re did it get us except 5 wooden spoons , losing culture mentality and laughing stock of the comp!

Agreed Frank. I don’t watch FC much, but I decided to watch the opening segment tonight. I thought it was pretty clear that the Popper Scooper & Caro know jack shit about what’s happening. Eddie is Eddie but he actually sounded like he gets it. Lyon handled himself well I thought. Lloyd was like the work experience kid who didn’t know what was going but at least knew enough to stay quiet most of the time.

From the bits I’ve seen it looks like:
- ‘someone’ helped prepare Ross for what was coming his way tonight, and he acquitted himself well
- Eddie has his moments of not being a complete tool
- Caro and her ilk are furious that we’re giving nothing away and are trying to poke the bear

All journalists are gamblers to some extent and aren't necessarily well liked by people when they are trying to break a story. We all have agendas and biases. I'm thinking Caro is one of the better ones though. Certainly better than some of the heads on sticks that we have to navigate when heading to the bank.

She did get quite a lot right and we do know that everything is for sale, perhaps the dump truck full of money wasn't quite enough to overcome Carltons current situation. Sometimes timing is everything. Thinking 2 trucks might have been required in this instance. Any way, I'm glad that spock Clarkson said no

My first thought too. As for playing a straight bat to media questioning and siding with Teague, it's not like he's gonna come out against Teague's pre-emptive media funeral and say "Yeah Teague's shit, he should get the boot" - coaches never trash their own and Clarkson is a seasoned media professional.

That was funny when she said but Mchin put her in her place , when he said it as simple as Clarko is going to make kennet pay him the $900k he owes , and it’s that plain and simple

Nothing to do with us , Kennett reneged on the money up front after Clarko stepped down ,

Was just about to ask the same thing. I don't recall Clarko ever voicing his "disgust" at the way Teague has been treated.
