Media are a circus and a joke. Nothing new however. How on earth can you criticise Sayers for doing a review, then analysing the findings and taking action in a diligent, in-depth manner? If he just sacked everyone Monday morning at 7am, he would have been criticised for jumping without thinking.

I know I’m not a big fan of his defensive game plan but he bloody knows his stuff.
Hopefully the plan is tweaked and we are away with some confidence in the coaches box.

Why? Don’t be sucked in by her saying Clarkson was spooked off by this week. She’s trying to save face because she was wrong about Clarkson coaching us next year. Clarkson turned down Collingwood & Gold Coast too remember.

What Eddie said was on the money - it wouldn’t matter who offered Clarkson a job next year, he is going to spend the next 12 months with his feet up smoking $900k of Hawthorn’s money and blowing it in Kennett’s face. Clarkson will then take the pick of the jobs offered to him at the end of next season.
