They haven't made up their mind on Teague i'd say. You don't get asked to discuss the review findings then present to the Board to talk about the season if you were going to get sacked. You'd just do it. Waiting for Clarko i'd say. They're may well have cooled on Lyon for a couple of reasons. At a guess, it'll either be Clarko or Teague, at least in my opinion trying to read between the lines.

I really do not believe that Caro, or Kane for that matter, 'has it in' for Carlton.
They call it like they see it. They might get it right, or wrong.
But, if more of us - esp at Board level - took what some of these analysts and columnists say at face value, maybe we'd be closer to addressing the issues which we seem to ignore but they seem to point out.

BTW, Kane has been very bullish on Carlton in the past year or so until it was clear we were underperforming. Which has been the gist of his criticism - he thinks we have big potential but just continuously fail to deliver. How could anyone really argue with that?

"Alastair Clarkson, they are throwing the kitchen sink at. Certainly if Clarko says yes to coaching the Blues then all bets are off. If Alastair Clarkson for whatever reason declines the job, there is a very good chance that David Teague will remain in charge."

"Ross Lyon has been speaking like he might have the job, and that may be the case, but my understanding is that his chance of coaching the club have faded in the past 24 hours. I have been told there has been a cooling on Ross Lyon."

I don't disagree with any of that, but all they seem to want to do (or can do in Caro's case) is report on anything negative or controversial. It just becomes boring and depressing after a while.

Caro definitely hates Carlton though. She takes great delight in dancing on our grave when we have been down. The problem is we have given her too much ammunition over the past 20 years, so we only have ourselves to blame.

No better time than during the season when things aren’t going to plan and emotions are still fresh.

And maybe it because she finds we are an easy club to get a leak from?

The leaks have already started if tonight’s “On the Couch” is anything to go by Gerrard Healy and Tom Morris have practically outlined how the votes at Board level are panning out.

You make some good points but "if the board have not made up their mind on DT".... really?

Okay say Hypothetically, in all the Moving Parts, it was only within the last 4 days they found out Clarkson might be interested after all. Maybe Clarkson said, I'm interested and by the way, I think I could work with DT as an assistant, so let me talk to him if we can sort this all out and I want to discuss this Review with him and the Board. I want to know what I am getting myself into.

Look I get all that, but my view is I find it hard to believe they wouldn't have known weeks ago what they were going to do.

As I said maybe the goalposts just moved again. It's like you want to buy house A but they won't drop the price so you plan for house B and just at the 11th hour House A drop their price. Plans change.

And Stanton having to go and ask? Really?

Is that really a big deal. Maybe he knew he was going and wanted to get his CV pout to as many clubs as he could before the silly season. Stanton Blinked. So what really. Development hasn't been the Clubs strongest point.

I don’t mind Tom Morris , and he is usually not far off things and doesn’t show any bias when reporting

Wouldn't it be funny if Sayers comes out in the next few days and calls all positions in the football department vacant and seeking applications for those positions.
This could include incumbent people.

We would have the ride of our lives

Basically said we want Clarkson but if he says no then that The Board is now split on Lyon because of the cloud that he left Fremantle .

They would want to get Clarkson now because every day this drags on it doesn't exactly do wonders for the brand
