A little bit on his history with the teams that he's coached at. Enjoying his time, good club, tradition, got to start winning though. Pagan wants them to be competitive, people having a real go on the track. Team healthy, full list, few injuries with everyone on the track, not going to nominate a number of wins for the next season. Nominated Brad Fisher and Andrew Walker as being impressive on the track before his phone dropped out..............tennis update............Known Denis a long time through South and Essendon*, great coach, likes him, traditionalist, hard but fair, Mentioned in passing the other coaches and then mentioned how he liked working with and developing the young fellas like the Irish brothers. Asked if there will be much change in Denis' game plan next year, TD mentioned that he thought it might not change much but he does pass a lot of the workload down to the assistants and is open to getting advice. Believes that a competitive side will be built up in time. Asked about Fev and Lance fitness / form. Lance hasn't missed a training session but they mix up his and Kouta's sessions. Lance has improved his times. Fev starting behind because of the operation but he has joined in the full training and will be brought on slowly but has work to do. Works with the forwards and does one on one and second and third defensive efforts which he sees as important because to the speed of the game.

I don't think I missed too much else.

On now - 6:13pm

Here are the points:

- on moving alot - " that's the caper"

- gotta get back too winning games and be competitive

- not carrying any real injuries - foundations are being laid

- who of young blokes have impressed

brad fisher - consistent
andrew walker - hasn't missed a beat (phone dropped out)

- working with Pagan

worked with him before at Essendon*
great traditionalist
hard and fair
coaching style will continue very similar.
open for advice

- players must stand up

- are the good players where they need too be (preparation)

Lance hasn't missed a session, he and Kouta get a day off, but they still swim etc.

Fevola still some work to do (groin) but getting there, may not play NAB, but on track.

- what is your part time work

with mainly forwards (key players), does include defenders.
acknowldeges that ball moves ultra fast these days, particularly at Telstra Dome. (think this links in with training reports)

hope this helps :-D

Just that he enjoyed working with the young players, such as Setanta and Aisake. I saw him doing a drill with Setanta and De Luca at trainign yesterday, simliar to the work he did with Fisher v Russell and Longmuir Vs Sporn.

Cheers all. Not much footy news at all in the SE corner of Queensland. Except if you pretend Benji Marshall plays for Richmond instead of Balmain and then pretend he's coming to play for the Southport Sharks instead of the Gold Coast Titans. Not many people doing that sort of pretending though. Apparently.
