So we have McKay and Jones out and Murphy in. Maybe we should bring in Casboult to give him a farewell as well. DeKoning is looking tired. I would go:
In: McGovern, Kemp, Casboult, Murphy
Out: McKay, Jones, DeKoning, O'Brien/Fisher/Dow

I would prefer Betts out, but we are obviously getting him to 350.

At end of the year Murphy, Betts and Casboult all need to retire.

Apparently McGovern kicked 6 in the scratch match. Anyone have any further info?

DeKoning will look a lot worst after trying to cope with Ladhams, Lycett, Dixon it will take courage to front up.

I think with McKay and Jones out, there is no way De Koning will be an unforced change.

It would be super cool to see SOJ swung in to defence in place of Jones! Just imagine if SOJ turns out to be the successor to Jones!!
Back to reality, we'll need him up front and with McGovern if at all fit to support Charlie who is nowhere near ready to take the load himself.

I'd like to see TDK rotating with SOJ in the ruck/forward.
We might need McGovern to play back, leaving Charlie & SOJ/TDK to take the forward line.

All I'm hoping for in these last two games is to see something from the fringe/new players:
- Dow - SHOW US WHAT YOU CAN DO!!! You've had a few good games, a crap one and a mediocre one. Finish strong, and it changes how I'll think of you for next year.
- LOB, SPS - Last chance saloon? (We know what SPS can do on the upside, its' more about addressing the deficiencies for him)
- Honey, Kemp, Ramsay etc...? Give us something to look forward to!

And finally, Murphy, lift for one last big performance, damnit!!

Is that right?

afl.com.au says that Jones is out for the year with a knee injury.

Can't see it anywhere on afl or carlton websites

Bloody good point, and with McKay out Levi might be required

Beveridge on Twitter

Bad luck

Still need 2 big boys, I mean real big boys for backline on Ladhams and dixon.

Levi and Weiters for the big boys.

Too big for a first gamer Kemp.

Still want Kemp as the 3rd tall...plow can take someone smaller.

Port are such a flat track team , plus the review is out this week, Teague getting the sack and we are mentally weak team

Saturday night is going to get ugly !!

Yes, it would be nice to see Ramsay and Kemp also.

Drop Newnes and take your pick for the other. Its too late but Martin for the other as a statement.

Teague has never been able to make 'statements' (said so himself)
Just like he said he's not a motivator coach

The postive spin for Teague this season has been the improvement in the losing margins; didn't lose a game by more than 28 points ie <5 goals.

Then GWS topped that and beat us by 36, then North by 39.

It could get really ugly against Port at home....and even worse vs GWS if they beat Richmond tomorrow and have Green back.

...then again Port may take its foot off the pedal and beat us by 28 points...we don't know which Carlton willl come out. Do we do a Saints and stick 60 tackles in a half?/ FIIK

Yet we'll still have enough energy to chair Connor Rozee off or something.

Kerr?

Do you mean Kemp?

Walsh will probably have a quiet game and we'll have to listen to everyone shit on about Rozee.

Also got a basketball background so that helps
