I'm surprised they picked Williamson ahead of Ramsay. Pity Fisher isn't available.

Just confirming that it's clearly open slather on posting from Benny accounts in here again? Haven't heard from senor falso or carlton gods disciple in a while.

Not much integrity in selection

Willo Casboult very ordinary years

Newman good last week but diabolical the week before not great and the game before average

Coach is desperate to win games so will go back to same old same old

Lots of injuries but will get to a point I think we have already got there at 5-14 we need to have a look at most of the players on our list
Disappointed to not see one of Ramsay and honey get a go

From all reports Willo has continued below average form in the ressies
These coaches though love hbf

Casboult brought in to split cauliflower after they've taken a defensive mark? It's apparently legal now.

He’s not very imaginative, Mr Teague. Not sure what you have to do to get a game if you’ve not played senior football

We are stretched for top end talent.

top 5 based on ranking points

Freo - Brayshaw (100.8), Mundy(95.2), Darcy(93.5), Fyfe(89.6), Ryan(87.5)
Blues - Walsh (105.6), Docherty (98.6) - injured, Curnow (90.3), Cripps (87.6), Newman (81.3) Weitering (74.6)

Cripps, Dow, Stocker, Martin, SPS and Fogarty need to a play game of their lives.

Freo is batting deep this year in terms of good form.

Selection table never concerns me but the quality of display as a unit - Freo will play with more synergy due to a stable line up.

Going to be a tough task - let's see how it goes.

Thought Honey may have replaced Fog - don't think we had much to lose there. Glad Levi is back - will help TDK and harry.
Surprised by Willo - but don't really get how he has faded so fast - he was a great hope about a year ago...

Should I be worried because often if a player comes out he is named on the bench

Casboult looked really good and was moving very freely in his last vfl match, I know it’s only vfl but I haven’t seen him that mobile for at least 12 months. Besides the cupboard is bare for second ruck options.

Correct Sin. He is a non-negotiable in. How people can argue this is mind boggling.
As for Williamson vs Ramsey - spare me. The only other guy that I would prefer right now is O’Brien. Williamson shores up more run in the backline and allows SPS to play the same role as last week.

@Walsh - If our coaches developed the top end draft picks correctly, you wouldn’t be asking for us to go spend big. Give it a rest - the talent is there, we just need to work with them and help them take the next steps. With or without Teague, I don’t give a flower anymore. I juts want us to get the best out of our current talented kids and stop the nonsense of other teams players are all better than ours.

Sorry Surrey Casboult has been horrible for 12 months I like he got to 150 games and has got everything out of himself but most of this season has been a liability
Hasn’t kicked goals hasn’t taken contested marks and round the ground regularly coughs it up to the opposition by hand or by foot
Willo has been extremely disappointing dropped I think 3 times and can’t remember a good game from him this year
Hope both go well on Saturday but on form don’t deserve a spot

Why we want Ramsay honey to get a look and Carroll and Kemp later is that we need to give them a taste but also maybe and just maybe they perform
Like an Owies improves the team and establish themselves as a senior player

Casboult hasn’t been fit all year. 2 weeks ago he was fit and looked good. We need him for forward support and ruck backup. It really is a no brainer.

I’m banking on Williamson to show us why he has being picked. I could be wrong, but he simply has more talent, the plenty of others in and outside our team. Let’s see if he does a Kennedy!

We’re desperate for a CHF, so Casboult had to come in. His ruck work is a bonus.

Williamson was terrible against the Bullants. He’s none of the things we lose with Docherty & Williams missing. It’s a really strange selection with Parks & Ramsay fit.

What, Cerra is not in their top 5??
We should definitely give up our first pick and pay him $800k…

Agree - turning bit cold on Cerra - his management asking too much on potential projected output.

..add to the fact we already have far too many middle of the road 21-23 year olds on our list. People keep screaming play them in their position but how do you fit 12 midfielders in 5 positions.
