No Levi and Pittonet = better team balance. Do others agree?

End of the 2nd quarter I broke into my best Anthony Warlow voice and started singing this is the moment.

5 minutes to go in the last I am back in the Sound of music singing So long farewell its time to say goodbye.

They really are a putrid team

Saw 10 minutes of the most scintillating football imaginable. Then foot foot come off the gas, then missed all 5 gettable shots in the last qtr, to do the regular Carlton thing and make it tough for ourselves and our supporters.

No. Lack of genuine 2nd tall hurt us. Need another KP forward.

5 shots in last quarter very disappointing on needed one more to break their back

Need to nail them feeds into the mediocrity of the team - 3 goals out of 5 shots means comfortable win
Excruciating misses

didnt play our best game but improved. 20k passionate Bluebaggers that love the club is better than 30k bluebaggers where 20% are fairweather softcocks just listening to media.

Happy with a win.
However, it is a huge worry that our better players played well and there was a lot more intent and team play (incl actually coming in to support players who were being hit). And yet, we still only beat last year’s wooden spooners by less than 2 goals (esp after busting out to a 34 Pt lead before half time).
Obviously game plan, confidence big issues.

What the hell am I reading here??

Just be happy with the win.

I sat down at a surf club with my wife….she was listening to her podcast, I was watching the footy and having a drink and a few snacks. Watched the setting sun as Cripps did his thing with that awesome goal and the boys going in hard.

Just relax and enjoy.

Nothing ever is as good or as bad as it seems.

Bottom line it was fun and I had a great day….plus I live in Adelaide so it makes it even better.

Last year a long time ago.
They were above us on the ladder this morning.

There is something concerning between Cripps and the umpires currently as well.
A very biased and deeply disappointing display by them today.
I fear having Adelaide closer to the top 8 was very important to them and therefore dread next weeks game against Fremantle already. :garthp:

Murphy finally a selfless act: plays 5 minutes, squibs a contest then limps off so we can get a better player on.
1 game closer.

Hey Walsh, hope you enjoyed watching Kennedy, Stocker, Dow and SPS today. Giving them time through the middle and forward is the go! Hopefully Teague has learnt. Next release the Stock!

Been very flat about the predicament we find ourselves in, again.

All week I said to myself don’t watch the game this week. Of course, as soon as it started I was watching and getting right in to it. Wish I could turn the passion off. I really do sometimes.

I’m very happy to win. Sure beats the alternative. Though we really do make hard work of it.

Unsure if it means much in the bigger picture but I guess it is some emotional nourishment for everyone. A small pressure release perhaps.

Walsh fantastic. Pleasure to watch.

I’ve gone off him and have posted as much but Jones was absolutely sublime today. Credit to him. Almost the best individual game any player has played this year. No costly howlers today.

Weiters super. Saad magnificent.

Thought we got absolutely reamed by the umps. Infuriating to say the least.

Positive game from Dow. Keep going son. Some great kicks too.

Williams was good too.

Still plenty to work on, those set shots in the last unforgivable, but thought we were at least harder to score against today. Though they still transitioned too easily a few times.

Let’s see what happens from here.

This team is so hard to like. 12 goals for the game. 8 came in a 15 minute burst. Goal less last quarter.

Blokes go to water when kicking for goal with a little bit of pressure building. When we needed a clutch goal not one of them could stand up. The mental fragility there for all to behold.

A win literally on the back of a 15 minute burst.

The positives were Dow's game. Definitely one of his better games. Kennedy playing solid footy at the moment. Stocker continues to improve and it was good to see some fight from the players after Weiters was sniped by that dirty prick Fogarty. Too bad it cost them a goal in the end.

Highlight of the day for me was Saad's run down of the Crows bloke in the last quarter. Desperation and probably a game saving tackle.

Low light was the @#$%&! umpiring. Disgraceful from the maggots. They only missed 1 all day for the Crows being Cripp's 35 metre run and goal. They'd be disappointed in themselves for giving that up.

Went to the game.
That 2nd quarter was one of the best I have seen from us in recent years.
The rest of the game was pretty frustrating but will take a win any day.
Umpiring was dreadful.
Good to see Dow play well and Stocker played his best game.
Saad is an exciting player, that goal was brilliant.
Williams had a point to prove and played a really good game.
Happy with any win at the moment.
Go Blues.

Same crows side who’ve beaten Geelong, Melbourne and overturned a similar deficit to beat Saints the other week.

Not saying we are great, far from it, but it was a better win that saying it was v last years wooden spooners, they are a better side this year.

Interesting to note that Cripps must have run 30 mtrs without a bounce to kick his great goal. No one has mentioned that.

No bias here is there.
