And that’s it
Williams is HBF that’s it
Another one
Too many of them
Midfield depth non existent
Williams signing hasn’t solved that problem
Hawthorn were terrible
I like Stocker he shows effort
So does Owies
It is what it is
It’s important clubs realize where they are at
We are a middle of the road side at best

It beats the crap out of an honourable loss.

If we didn't shit our pants against the Dogs we'd be sitting in the 8.

Looked like we did a ring around last night to get enough numbers to play. Do these blokes even train together?

We looked dead on our feet at the beginning of the last and they were trying to sap every bit of energy we had given they have the bigger bodies. I thought we stood up and didn’t leak goals when we conceded the first. I thought Saad was huge as was Williams. Good to see Setterfield getting his hands on it a bit and I thought Walsh tried his guts out. Just didn’t stop making an effort. Special display from someone so young. It was also Doc’s best game for the year. I have witnessed too many losses against the Hawks to take this one for granted! Go Blues!

Looking forward to my morning coffee and not seeing any sign of their filthy colours for a change …

The last time Carlton beat Hawthorn at the MCG was the day Sam Walsh was born — July 2, 2000.

We won and copped no injuries.

Walsh & Weitering are amazing. Good games from Doc & Saad. Williams had his moments. Stocker & Owies keeping up their ends of the bargain. Solid return by TDK. Another game under the belt for Newman.

It doesn’t take a footy genius to see we have a problem in the midfield and HF. The connection between our lines is well below the better sides. We’re still leaking goals, but it was pleasing that we tightened up defensively in the last term. It was on the cards that the Hawks would come over the top early in the final quarter but we showed the intent which we ought to have showed for the whole game.
