I am still in.

at least get 18 - 20 and play 18 a side or something.

This is the nature of these things, you have 25 possible, and a few get other commitments and presto.

I can appreciate they would be pissed off, and human nature for them too vent it.

If we play with just enough and get smacked, so be it, just flood, conversley, if we play with just enough and win - well .... :-D

Main thing is that we have fun! if we are getting smaked we can change it up! give The Tyrant a run at FF now that sounds fun to me!

Happy too play CHB - no worries.

Remember though, I am pushing 2:15pm as I am at lunch. Will leave there at 1:45 - 2pm see how I go.

I posted this for your info on bomberblitz, thought it was important too support PJ - he will not be left on his own, this is us -

Hi guys,

Haven't posted for a week or so.

Things can change pretty quick.

I think in fairness PJ's downfall (if it is) is that he was too open and honest and posted straight away as things progressed in the wrong direction.

There is no right nor wrong in this, just simply that we all (including us) desperately want a game, and are just as passionate about playing, but didn't want too end up dissapointing by having no one come game day.

In your case you seemed too have numbers, even surplus allowing for numbers too drop off, and in our case, our last team was 23, a couple couldn't play from the outset which took us too 20 and (genuine) events over the last couple of weeks have hit the numbers hardish.

Having said that, we will go ahead, seek a few friends too get our numbers to at least 19 and hopefully modify some numbers on the ground so we can all run out the game.

I hope others are committed like me, but we all know from time to time we can't rely on people close too us, let alone others that although united by one passionate thing, our football team, we hardly know face too face.

The ones that have pulled out genuinely are not available not necessarily through there own doing.

While I can appreciate your reactions, I must say that it was no surprise too me. Let it all out.

I (we) look forward too meeting you guys on the 22nd for a 2:15pm start - don't forget a football.

Barnesy

Looks like Fullmont101 will be our number 1 ruck! Is there anyone else who is willing to throw there hand up to share the ruck duties? I will be able to jump in for 5mins here and there but anyone else??? You don't need to be a gun just compete!

Got a couple of mates interested now, and potentially another 2 on top of that.

At least 1 of those should come through and play. The other is always a tad unreliable with drunken agreements, but should be lured into playing with the promise of some footy.

On top of that, I'll put the word out to some mates who are half-decent players, one of which might even be able to play ruck (though he's not massive). He plays ammos, and the other dude plays at some level in the DVFL..... I've got to go through other people to get them though, so they're not certainties.... though if ammo's guy is free he'll probably be super-keen. He'll take any excuse to play some kind of sport, and is a mad-keen Carlton supporter as well.

So, I'd put down Tyrants +1 (plus probably another, and maybe 2 more).

I'll also double check with my brother in law if he's fit. He was keen to play some time back, but picked up a bit of an injury at the gym. If he's fit and keen... another pretty good player, who could probably get CHB.

Updates throughout the week.

I am more than happy to take on being the coach.

Bull, Shag and I put this team together to what we think will be the strongest team from 1st bonce.

B: James Bond.......Tyrant......Tecknodeejay
HB: FireArmFevs....Barnesy.....Teckno’s mate(Danny?)
C: MattFish....SimBot.....Slyuss
HF: The Shag.....Italian_Styles....AlexThaGreat
F: Nicko......Bull.....BNZ

R: Fullmont101......WCB......Big Danny G

Tyrants mate?
Big Danny G's mate?
Club29?

We didn't name thses guys on the ground due to thefact that we dont know if they are 100%

BB are a very good unit and play a good brand of footy, but wtih the way we played vs Collingwood I have no question we are more than able to win this game aswell!!!
Yes I know we are missing some key players but we also found a few in SimBot, Mattyfish, Teckno's mate Danny, Bondy and Barnsey.

BRING ON THE BOMBERS!!!!!!! WE ARE READY!!!!!

What can you expect froma bunch of panzie Carlton supporters ... only wanna play when they know they can win .... hahaha hopefully for them, their team doesn't take that mindset into the year, otherwise they'll have 22 weekends free this year

I was already pumped! people just read the part about 'panzie Carlton supporters' over and over! Make them pay!

We can do this!
We will do this!
They will never forget the day they played TalkingCarlton (yeah I know I stole that from 'Remember the Titans')

I couldn't really give a rats clacker what they say.

Panzie - doen't exist in the dictionary

Pansy does

1. Any of various plants of the genera Achimenes or Viola, especially
V. tricolor or its hybrids, having flowers with velvety petals of various colors.

2. A deep to strong violet.

3. Offensive Slang.
1. Used as a disparaging term for a man or boy who is considered effeminate.
2. Used as a disparaging term for a homosexual man.

Give a shit.
