Personally, with games ive actually seen, KOUTA, either that game against North in 2000, or 99 Prelim.

Maybe Williams in 95, pick a game.

- the game were diesel got about 45 touches (might have been more, i know it was the record) and kicked 6 goals

- Fev's game against Adelaide where he kicked the winner

- Fev's game against west coast in wizard cup

- and i know this is not a game but SOS's 95 final series.

- also kouta's game against kangas in 2000.

Ill give the Duke a plug here not great stats but just power plah CHF who can forget the final against WC he went straight thru Kemp? I knew we were gonna win from the moment. (He was a great indicator on committment level)

Wayne Harmes for his raking kicks and never say die who could ever forget the tap back from the 15th row at the "G" or some of his great marks.

Been fortunate enuff to see a lot of guys wearing the navy blue

The game where Greg Williams got 44 possessions against Melbourne in 1993 - and the Umpires in their wisdom did not award him a Brownlow Medal Vote (1993).

Give it back Wanganeen.

Greg Williams "Moral" Triple Brownlow Medallist.

Pretty sure it was Guy McKenna, but whoever it was it was a great moment - and showed our level of committment in 1995, it was Round 22 we were 3 games clear on top of the ladder and in no danger of losing top spot - but we still played at full throttle.

Kouta Vs West Coast in 96.

Actually Kouta could have 4-5 games in the top 10.

Easily the most dominant footballer in history on his day.

Hate to say it but from the last 3 years Campo, Round 2 against Geelong in 2004 was fantastic. And I should know, I've seen that game about 40 times

Which shows how crap he has been for the rest of the time, since he won the Best & Fairest in 2000.

Jarusa - if you have the stats for that Geelong game in 2004, can you take out the play on from kick outs and the cheap out the back handballs from the HBF and give us his Possessions for that game please. :P

Thanks to PatsFitztrick we now know that in 1927 it was reported that Alex Duncan took 33 marks for the Blues in one game against the filth.

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... x%09Duncan

... that's a fair effort. 8)

Edit: AGRO, I think Synbad has those stats.

Definitely Guy McKenna.

Best hip and shoulder in the history of the game - and I defy anyone to point out a better one.

The rest of the West Coast backline (the most feared going around at that stage - marshalled by one J. Worsfold) heard footsteps for the remaining 3 quarters that day.

That would make a great avatar! :-D

Kernahan's lazy 10 goals 7 against the Dogs in 1995 when he looked like he would the break the record for goals in a match.

19 kicks, 6 handball, 12 marks and a million opponents!

Just looking at the stats from that game and Gleeson also had a great game with 37 possessions! :-D

But all I remember is Sticks's 10 goals.

Kouta v Kangaroos 2000. We hadn't beaten North for five years and the last time we played them they beat us in the 99GF. Kouta killed them that day all over the ground, in the air and on the scoreboard. The crowd was roaring for everyone to kick it to him and the players listened kicking to packs where he lurked and he just took mark after mark.
Sad thing was he dominated every week for about 8 weeks straight till Johnson crashed into his knee.

I'll never ever forget that match in 2000 vs North.

He was so good that day that Pagan put Carey on him.

Yeah but they would have been all uncontested, zoning off a man. Marking stats mean nothing...

oh hang on, has the game not always been played in this way?

I went to the G in 2000 to see Kouta Ab-so-lutley tear strips off 22 Hawthorn footballers. He was so far ahead of anybody else on the ground it wasn't funny.
He must have had a teflon coating on that day because no one could make a tackle stick.
Deisel was a freak, so pick any game of his and you can't go wrong.
