Overreaction probably but SPS is looking like a failed pick.

There is literally nothing he is doing well at the moment. Kicking, handballing, marking, defensive efforts. Zilch.

just horribly out of form, he needs a rest and get someone else in, but we have never dropped him. i dont think he is a wasted pick just yet

Yep for me Gibbo walsh and murph with H Cripps fish and betts doing well.
Backline terrific.
Just the dropped marks dinky missed kicks and shooting for goal...
I think we have them - kick it deep into F50 - the ball is slippery and we dominate the pressure.

I’ve been unhappy with Murphy in recent weeks but he has been sensational tonight.

Looking timid and hesitant. Plenty (but not all of course) kids are at stages in their first few games. He will watch the game back and tell himself to crack in harder.

I don’t think Sammo is happy playing back. If you noticed his body language when he spoke to Syd and he mentions he doesn’t get forward much as he is a defender now. Just the way he said it.

Beauty of Kayo Sports. Got to watch that last bit again while half time is on.

Game might open up more in the heat.

Can the moderators start a thread for those who dropped/retired Marc Murphy, to apologise?

Why ???
When a senior player and leader isn't playing how WE all know he can then he will be scrutinised.
So coz he was a former captain and stayed loyal doesn't make him immune from criticism.

This is the Marc Murphy we all love and want.

Can the mods start a thread for people who take blanket silly positions of who is great and who is bad instead of letting people dare to say somebody had a bad game or two?

He played poorly last week. Good this week. Why is that such a problem for people?

If we’ve drawn any sort of line in the sand this year it’s foot on the throat time.
