Jezza and Big Nick - no wait, Big Nick wouldn't make it today. Jezza and Sticks (Sticks as footballer)

There's only one way to get it. Wins and more wins.

Every game we approach we must go 100% to win.

What happened to "Tank Theory?'

That takes effect from Rnd 12 :P

Tut tut tut Mark.
A person in your position should understand the ramifications of "labelling" people more than most.
I cannot approach a game of football and ever hope to lose. Whether I'm playing, coaching or watching the Blues.

I understand the ramifications of losing draft picks but players can never be asked to give less than their best.
However, if injured players are sent off to have operations preparing them for the season ahead and that is considered tanking, then perhaps I am guilty. :?
I consider it list management.
Fevola, Stevens and any other injured players should have been fixed up late last year so this seasons preparation was not affected.
If that cost possible late wins, so be it.

Did people ever want to tank at the start of a season... I thought it was like a decision to be made when you realise or think that the club is going nowhere fast and should change tack

To tank before Round 1 is .... is .... I dunno, hard to comprehend.

You'd think O'hailpin, Hartlett and Russell will all play in the NAB cup because they will be playing seniors at some stage in the regular season. I'd say Fev will sit the cup out and Waite may be saved too - so I dont expect us to defend our title but it's gonna be f#$% interesting to watch!

carrazo thornton teague
russell saddington lappin

simmo scotland walker
stevens french bentick

o'hailpin whitnall fisher
betts hartlett davies

i/c kouta, murphy, dmac, hoops, corey mac, chambers/bannister

would love to see a combination like that, might not win many games but these blokes are gonna have to play together at some stage.

Aside from the hilarious back-tanking concept, which is one of the funniest things I've read in ages, I think, as with any game, the Club will go out to win every game it plays.

As a player, you don't run out on the ground trying to lose.

As a coach, you would be the biggest fake going around if you are coaching your team to lose.

It doesn't matter what the game is, when it is, or who you're playing.

Sure, they may pick an inexperienced side, or something in the middle, but everyone involved will be taking the NAB very very seriously.
