Eddie Betts is skating on thin ice, don't like to say it, but is close to losing his place in the side. Although it would be good for him to play in Darwin, he'd probably light up the stage.

Correct.... Insane frees.... The one that won us the game was a stupid free, barely there, but less there than those two!

Go Blues

He got him late.

Think Sps should be tried in another position. So much better in attack than scrambling in the backline

Some serious lack of composure with the ball in the last 2 minutes by Harry, Jones & Doc. Lucky to get away with it. But I guess we’ve been on the other end of it enough times...

Well done Newnes. Not just the kick but for not rushing it when that cameraman was being a flog.

Hopefully we get Martin & McGovern back next week.

All footage of the play between the first siren and final siren should be burnt. That final kick was the only pretty thing from the entire match.

Newnes just hit that so sweetly. Glad I took back my comment from earlier in the year about how shit I thought he was. Now I can jump on the Newnes bandwagon.

yep, he's not getting the job done. indigenous round may save him, although it shouldn't

Amazing outcome given how poor they were in the first quarter.

Best umpiring I’ve seen all year

Sad but true. Owies been consistently impacting the scoreboard in the scratch matches.

Do we give Eddie the game in Sir Douglas Nicholls round that on form, probably doesn't deserve, or do we become ruthless and drop him?

Agree... But all barely there and should be left alone... Stupid umpiring nearly cost us... In the end it favoured us.. Thank God...
Still... Stupid umpiring directed by THE AFL... Just let the game play ffs

Go Blues
