Eddie needs to lift. Hasn't gotten near it for about a month. Owies hitting the scoreboard every week in the scratch matches.
Eddie has a half to keep his spot for next week

Murphy has had 4 possies I can remember. One was really good. One free against and three ineffective.
And he isn't our worst.
But he is a leader.

Cripps is having a mare. He rally needed to nail that first one. It was not a difficult shot and would have set us up.

Murphy 13, 8 contested

Zero impact. Move him on please.

David Teague is slowly killing SPS . Get him in the midfield for god's sake. Oh wait he can't because our insipid ex leader at 33 is there getting pushed over twice let alone once from an 18 year old 7th gamer. Leadership

he doesnt make changes mid game

Mail from weeks ago was Crippa playing with displaced disc in back and on jabs each week. So you can forget his lack of impact. But you can’t ignore how poor others have been. SPS, Kennedy, Setters, Newnes, Harry and the Daddy of them all...Murph.

Play SPS in the middle as he is no backman and never will be.

Rest Cripps next week, drop Murphy and bring in Dow and LOB.

we will kill this bloke. he shouldnt be playing if this is true

Murphy trying hard but it effective, gets mauled can’t stand up n a tackle and when he tackles they brush him off, no more core strength...aka cooked now...needs a rest.
SPS terrible that little piss weak kick out of defence should have been slammed 60 mtetres up the wing...cost us another goal.
Ed our best despite his hack kicks...Harry offering some presence.
Need Kennedy and Setterfield to step up.
Cottrell nice goal.

He doesn't like body contact and today he's gone a long way to avoid it... not sure putting him in the middle under these conditions would be of benefit

Two goals down by the two free kick goals to Freo. We stemmed the tide. The conditions must be worse than what they seem on television. Need to pick up our pressure, especially we need to start winning the ball from centre clearances and around the ground.

watching on tele. my humble opinion is that they are second to the ball, freo want it more, and seem to know we can be beaten. we are panicking a hell of a lot, and we are just not clean. it seems one team i playing with spirit, and one team is just trying to get through the game. we dont look like winning at this stage - how the hell did we destroy the dogs?

i havent seen anything resembling of a game plan, unless the plan is to kick and hope

as another poster said, there is something horribly wrong with this team

A bad malaise.

15 points to half time isn’t very good.

Newnes is not playing.

I am sure I saw him nearly have a possession once in the first half....

Quote from the club during the week was that he is completely healthy and "categorically not carrying any injury".

I think murph is doing ok. Don't get the critism of Eds kicking - he always gets it in the middle of a pack. It is setters Sps Kennedy and betts who need to get into it.

Not just second to the ball but Freo also has more numbers at the ball

I have been critical of him, but blind Freddy can see he is struggling to move. Shouldn't be playing.

He needs a rocket, reckon he thinks he’ll get a game each week. Bring in Dow and LOB now.
