A) Reports suggest they will lose 5 good players but not all from the same pod. Well, we are missing C Curnow, Kruezer, Newman, Marchbank and Fisher - I suspect that’s a more important group than the 5 that Ess will lose (given that at least McKenna is barely in their best 22). If true, Essendon*’s list is not THAT depleted. It is a big danger game and good test of our mental stocks - we must be ruthless and desperate to win.
B) It feels as if there is a v strong suspicion that McKenna breached the rules which put him in more danger than just bad luck which could happen to any team.
C) PS. It looks like SOS & Co were only 12 months off in the Stocker trade strategy... I can’t help but think about Adelaide imploding on field 12 months earlier...

That footage of the snot fest is gold. Can we call him the human spraycan?

Will still require much braveness on their behalf

I recall games last year where we were missing Jones, Simpson, Docherty and Williamson from our back 6. Can we get the games re-played when we have a full complement? Just for fairness.

Didn’t Weitering and Marchbank miss some as well?

It’s not a strong suspicion that McKenna breached the rules, he’s admitted it. He attended an open house and visited his host family and friends after being explicitly warned not to

Let's not forget these muppets had a player suspended the week prior for breaching the rules. They wonder why everyone hates them. Once again the rest of the competition has to bend to accommodate their blatant diregard for the rules.

James Stewart. That is all.

Game on. Let's bury these flowers.

Essendon* have got off pretty much scot free from this. Stewart wouldn’t have played anyway. Regardless of who plays for them, we need to beat them. Turn up with the intensity from the first 3 quarters last week and we get the job done. I personally don’t really rate their team, despite the two early wins (which were against bad opponents). This is a game we should be winning. We need to continue on from last week. The Carlton of the past 5 years would generally no show after a good performance. Hopefully last week has given them the belief that if they play with intensity, we can beat anyone.

We probably would have got ahead of ourselves & lost if 6 of their players were out

If we lose one or more players to COVID19 after this game AFL HQ needs to be burned to the ground.

bit unfair that they have had a week off though. I think we'll need to be a few goals up going into the last.

I'm not sure if this will be much of a factor with the 16min quarters and our 7 day break.
If anything I think Essendon* might be a bit underdone.

It’s just like playing another team that has just had a Bye.

Nah. With the lack of footy that we’ve had we will be much better off having had a solid hit out.
