Druggies may ask afl to postpone the game
My understanding is that if they have to isolate players but have 22 fit to go, they have to play.
We will know early in th week what the health dept has ruled. The guess is that the entire group of 8 that trains with O'Connor will be isolated for 14 days. That's the entire back line, which apparently goes against what the AFL recommended (I suppose to avoid this exact situation) when making up the groups.
If they have 22 fit players on Tuesday and have a ban on the others, I am anticipating a couple of training injuries on Tuesday night or Wednesday to reduce those available to 21 or fewer.
Personally, I think they (or any team) that gets affected by it should forfeit the 4 points and neither team has a change in percentage. That won't allow the AFL to broadcast their 144 games, which would be a gross mishap as far as the broadcast rights agreement is concerned.
Absolutely agree with you and Rexy as would most logical people.
We aren't talking logical here though. These shit stains don't believe the rules apply to them. They've proven that time and time again.
When they got exposed as drug cheats the decision makers at AFL house responded with "everyone wants a strong Essendon**" and proceeded to reward their cheating ways with pick 1 in the draft.
I don't trust them to not change the rules to suit what is best for Essendon** rather than what is best for the entire comp.
