After last weekend, I just want to see them throw everything they’ve got at Geelong. Win, lose or draw we need to do the tough things for 4 quarters - tackle, pressure, chase, smother etc. Based on the last 5 or so years, the premiership model (Dogs in 2016 and Tigers thereafter) is putting manic pressure on the opponent all day until they wear down. Even if the first tackle doesn’t stick, the second or third will get you. And, even if you do dispose of the ball, it’s likely to be a rushed disposal, partly in hope, that has a higher than normal chance of being intercepted. This is how we need to start playing. It requires 22 players to go out on the ground and do everything in their power to pressure the opposition. As has been discussed for nearly a week, we were so far off that for 1.5 quarters last week. This team needs to get serious about being a ruthless club. It can start on Saturday if they’re willing to do it. If not this weekend, then when? We’ve only been waiting 10 odd years. A winning mentality and willingness to pressure has nothing to do with age or talent.

I'd love to see us come out and go "@#$%&! it" this is about the future and go for blood again the Cats, not sniping, but full on hard tackles, fully on "in your face" from Gov and Cripps and Harry and Pitto and Setters and Weitering and Jones and Ploughman etc, these guys are all big enough to really push into faces and let the scragging all in happen, three times at least...just @#$%&! push back as hard as they can, scrag and push and lay on top off for a while longer than necessary - play @#$%&! ugly and lose but lose leaving them bruised. I know cats would win the push and shove as well as the gam,e but it may just put a bit of fire in our bellies a bit of "oh okay, its not just about getting the ball...not at all." flower' go 'em Bluebaggers!

We will probably get flogged but if there is any chance at all, we must do the following.

Tackle hard from the start ... make them earn every ball.
Don't go wide on this ground ... I will spew up if we don't go down the middle.
Cover the corridor in defence ... make them go wide.
Never give up ... Never surrender.

Come on Bluebaggers ... enough is enough!

I have a big feeling about this one.

Cats by 10 goals.

At half time.

So will weather impact the lineup?

The Cats lineup is nothing special IMO. It's a pity the match is being played at Kardinia Park as I think we'd be a decent chance of beating them at the MCG or Marvel.

I hate Geelong. They’ve got an a certain air about them, i’d really like to see it smashed back into the 90s.

Target Danger and Ablett, smash them at every chance. Make sure Ducky has his head bandaged at the first bounce. Make them feel hunted and watch them wilt.

From what I have read O'Brien, Philp and Honey seem to be in form. As much as I like Setterfield and Cunningham ... we need to see what Philp and Honey offer. Newnes seems to be a long way off. We are gunna get thumped anyway so 'what the hell'.

In: Silvagni, Williamson, O'Brien, Philp, Honey

Out: Newman, Lang, Newnes, Setterfield, Cunningham

I think the match committee will just go with Silvagni and Williamson in for Newman and Lang. They have shown themselves not to be bold with selections.

Soj and Willo for Newman and Lang IS being bold for the MC.
It will probably just be Willo for Newman.

Depends on who is available too (we probably don't know what Soj is up to anyway)

Sorry, but shouldn't we be doing this at every game??

They need a change up at the first bounce this week. Get Gibbons and SPS in there.
