Much better quarter, even if the scoreboard doesn't show it.

Weitering and Docherty have been terrific.
Gibbo our best midfielder. Pretty disappointing from the senior trio (Murph, Ed and Crippa).
Thought Pittonet competed well.
Harry very good.
Very nervous first 6 quarters from Walsh this year.
Jack Martin is class. So is Cuningham when he actually gets his hands on it.

Russell may have them made for a 4 qtr effort.

I hope it's not an even effort.

Russell is a great conditioner and mentor. He's the least of our troubles. Our midfield is the shallowest in the league by a mile.....that is our Achilles heel. After Cripps and 2nd year player Walsh we have no others, including Murphy who is now a C grader and unable to put any physical pressure on opposition. Dow and Fisher were supposed to have come on to assist Crippa now but they haven't delivered. Hopefully Philp is good but he's no bruiser. We need big bodied and skilled mids more than any other type of player.

Teague almost always wins second halves. Lets hope its another one. Not tackling enough first quarter and not hard enough in the contest but got better in second part of second quarter.... need to be manic in our tackling and pressure as thats been average,

I think the Dees have won 2 of their last 500 games at this ground about to make it 3.
We have Carltonised Walsh ,Martin won't be far behind them.
