don't really have a win/loss ritual, except drinking both ways, cause I usually have kids to cook dinner for, but i do wear my carlton G-string on game day....it's become my ritual.

My boys go out and play footy in the backyard, win or lose, but they do it after every game so I guess that's there's

Aussie ritual was locking mysefl away and avoid all media after a loss. With a win its a good gloat read the papers watch all the football shows.

Now being in the usa and with our performance of late the wife and I have a bet on the losing margin check the score and find something else to do. ( there is just something about bettin on a losing margin that is not quite right isnt there). On the very rare win of the last couple of yrs (10 isnt it?) load up the afl site and watch the game.

I remember not going to school some Monday's if we had lost to a team that any of my mates followed.

after a loss i'd mope around for the rest of the weekend like a wounded dog.

now when we win i'm just so happy, especially when it's unexpected.
i can live off a good win all week.

quite often having some drinks after a good win is the norm too, not always but mostly

When we lose I pull the cat's tail twice.

I only pull it once if we win.

Not so much a ritual but the silence in the car from Princes Park or the MCG back to Mt Waverley is abit like the silence after your Dad tells you off as a kid and asks "Why did you do that?" and you just know there is no answer or nothing good to say, so you keep quiet and look sad.
