Thought SPS was very good too. Meh the rest.

Doc, Liam, Cas...

Doc was good in his attack and that his movement looked good, so happy for him, but still needs time to get his skills back to where they were.

Makes the first half, particularly the first quarter, even more infuriating.

Skills need to improve materially otherwise we will continue to give ourselves no chance.

Yep. It all seems pointless, sports wise knowing the season will get shut down.

Surely if the season stops right now, we finish second, and play in the big one.

This - and weighing up the players we had missing vs Richmond going down a gear later on. It's hard to gauge what comes out of this result.

The exception being Kreuzer likely out for a few weeks - AGAIN.

Second half good but is more frustrating because you see the first half and think why are we do poor when at times we play good football do we continue to serve up that rubbish
Really need to be mentally tougher lack of tackling and pressure in the first half was a bottom side effort

Martin great acquisition and weiters SPS doc Cripps and Levi good

When Richmond had the run of play they looked like a team of champions and a champion team.

Our two standouts for me were Martin up forward and Docherty down back.

When our leaders lead, then the rest of the team will follow - helping to improve disposal around the ground and hitting up targets in the forward line.

Let our young players make mistakes and they will learn, with the afore mentioned leadership, it's the only way we are going to lift ourselves up the ladder.

Well done boys, we want a win next week, however long it takes 'for next week' to come around.

Disposal efficiency the difference.
I actually thought we out played them most of the game.
To many who can't kick.
Walsh up until his last 2 disposals was running at 19% finished at 32%

Dow missing 2 set shots

New rule if you are inside 40 take the shot

Doc, Liam, Cas...

I thought Fish was good in the second half.
Dow and Setterfield were disappointing again.

Disposal efficiency - Richmond 80.1% to Carlton 68.9%
Efficiency inside 50 - Richmond 54.2% to Carlton 38.9%

A very accurate opinion Sydney Blue.

5 clearances and 7 score involvements good but zero tackles and 7 clangers is upsetting.

More upsetting is watching him jog back in defence when others are running.

In the first quarter it was looking like a 100 pt flogging.
So a 24 pt loss given that we allowed Bitchmond so many easy goals wasn’t too bad at the end.
A lot of love for SPS’s deft kicks

Should have happened years ago.

Imagine how good we’ll be when he’s no longer playing!

I know there are people in here with good footy brains who take me up on this but it’s not a footy issue.

It’s a psychological issue.

When other players see him get picked week after week after week despite doing stupid shit and not putting his body on the line that’s going to kill your club culture.

I mean, you know I've been with you the whole way so we aren't arguing here. If we clipped him he'd go to another team and still get 100 SC points a game but they would be the worse for it overall.

More meant our performance. Saw our very worst and some pretty good football often moments apart

Amateurish umpiring in the first quarter wrecked what would have been a good game... Then we had to listen to two quarters of commentators saying how good the Tigers were.

Don't get me wrong, they would have won, but the game was destroyed at the start....
Highlights..
Weiters...
Cripps
Martin
SPS
Caz
.. Even SOS...
Dow, Cunners, Fish teasing... But they have to REALLY show something soon (read tear a game apart)

Lowlights
Dusty has the Brownlow in the bag, - throws, in the back,... Frees go for him... Obviously umps have decided 'it can't have happened, it's Dusty'
Kruezer injury... Say no more (so TDK? or Pittonet)... TDK would have been handy in the forward line tonight...
I hate watching on TV... Bombing to forward line.... Can't see who/what they are kicking too...
BUT DOING THAT AND AN UNCONTESTED MARK GETS TAKEN.... WTF WAS THE KICKER LOOKING AT/DOING
(phew... Breathe, breathe, breathe)

I struggle to analyse when watching on TV... I'll have to think about some of the other dumb stuff we were doing :)

Go Blues
