Agree with others.. Likely go ahead on Thursday.. But just a matter of time before a player is s confirmed +ve and that knocks out the team for a few weeks and it's game over...
Postponement for the a month would have been better..... If things aren't sorted (stabilised) with a month of isolation , footy is the least of the world's problems

There is no advantage to postponing the season, unlike NBA and european comps, we are going into flu season not coming out of it.

There will be a point where game will be cancelled and more than likely that will be april/may so getting the season going now will be the most likely way to get 17 rounds where at least each teams play each other once and therefore get a legitimate finals series.

While I want the game to go ahead just to see how surreal it will be with no crowd noise, the AFL has to pull the pin.
