Very solid performance so far.

Lions got on top late in the second quarter when Levi was in the ruck and the tag in Neale seemed to stop.

Really impressed with Martin. Brings a real point of difference to the forward line. Aggressive and good overhead. Looks a quality pick up.

Dow has been good enough. Really needs to work on his composure and he will really start to impact games.

Going to be a long year of shaking my head at umpires. FFS, 50s for the exclusion zone is such a shit rule. Absolutely no effect on the game and it’s a huge penalty. If the player is 5m away, why pay it?

This will test both teams. Lighting is not much chop. Good thing there is some moonlight

Noticed we rested Cripps and other senior players outside of the middle that quarter. Lions dominated, 3gls 4pts from centre bounce.

Walsh just so good. Cripps doesn’t look like he has got out of third gear.

Some really nice ball movement and skills from end to end, one which Casboult slotted nicely.

I think Brisbane have been running a 6 man bench the whole match and is 4. They’ll likely run over the top of us here.

But it’s been a solid hit out. Lots to like. Lots to work on.

I think so too. All coming back from injury in managed minutes.

Really liked what Dow has done thus far. I've been critical of him but would love to see a lot more of what he's shown tonight.

Setters on the other hand has been very disappointing. Have to seriously question whether he gets a game in round 1.
