Coniglio isn’t an $800k+ player, so I can’t see how it’s so hard to fit Daisy in at the league average.
If McGovern is the new benchmark, we’re stuffed.
Coniglio is worth much more than $800K considering he is a free agent.
I agree however that McGovern shouldn't be on $700K.
The TPP is increasing by the year and supporters have to adjust their numbers with the times.
What was $700K in the TPP 3 years ago has dramatically increased every year since.
Coniglio is a $1M player given he's a FA and we get to keep our 1st rounder.
Shiel was offered more by 4 clubs we know of.
Coniglio is a much better footballer than Shiel to put things in perspective.
I hope we get Cogs, even if its $1.2M.
We have banked space and that's another factor to consider: 105% TPP.
McGovern has shown he's worth $700 and I haven't heard that he's on that other than from where the rumor started on the Big Footy Crows site.
I doubt its $700K, and who knows, he may turn out to be worth that plaus some if he adds more than that in value to the 'whole'.
Daisy is another story.
I guess its up to him what he is willing to accept what's on offer and weigh that up with his career offers off field, perhaps in the media.
Teague is now coach. Let him decide what he thinks is best for 2020, because that's all we are talking about when it comes to Daisy.
Daisy has become a Navy Blue with his name on the locker after this weekend. Much better than what we were thinking of Daisy in the Mad Malt house days.
