Thank goodness for that.
It's not like Ling to get something wrong.

Watching Teague and Shaw on 360 just then.

You can see their attitudes and approach to players are much more modern and in sync with Gen Y footballers.

Walsh, O’Brien, Kennedy and Setterfield all seem to have improved under Teague. Harry and C Curnow have done on. TDK has been playing well in the bullants.

Stocker has been injured during most of Teague’s reign so nothing to be concluded there.

Which leaves Fisher and Dow.

This post is confusing.
Walsh has been consistent all year and is developing every game.
Kennedy wasn't in the seniors for the first half.
Setterfield has developed but one could argue natural progression with game time.
Harry has become a beast of a wingman at the expense of the forward line.
C Curnow has been injured.
TDK has been in the reserves.

Dow has gone backwards because of a position change.
Fisher has been crook.
Stocker injured.

Based on this it's hard to argue for or against.
C Curnow kicked a PB 7 goals agst Footscray. Believe me, no one wanted Bolton gone more (except the older players). Bolton stays - > Curnow goes.

I would also say the Silvagni has improved substantially under Teague, Samo the same.

Robbo will have upset a lot of Carlton supporters with his article in the paper today.
He went with Voss to coach and said Ling got it from a good source.
I am tipping the club has received lots of calls and emails today.

I hope they are bombarded.
Why would they go with Voss over Teague?

I would argue that Fisher has actually been pretty good apart from the last couple of weeks.
Dow has been a bit down but he has been down all year based on what we thought would be his trajectory at the beginning of the year.
Give it time.

At the moment it is great that Teague has prompted an improvement in game style, and wins and losses.
The committee will be looking at these together with a heap of other ingredients to determine who should be the next coach. E.g. What would you do with a full pre-season and in the longer term to improve the team? Where are our strengths and weaknesses and how would you exploit/address both?
Plus, looking at how he relates to the players, the football dept and club more broadly, and with the media (hence his appearance on 360 last night, I’m guessing...).

How many people genuinely do this? (I’m asking because I’m intrigued, not to be condescending). I’ve never thought to email or call the club out of reaction to a story in the paper.

There is a petition going at the moment on one of those change.org things.
