Must have missed this one over Christmas?

Good that Blackwell is doing interviews now - they wouldn't let me last year! Love the fact that he was a Blues fan despite being swamped by Weagles.

Gotta love this last comment "hopefully we can stick it up a few people this year."

1) What part of Queensland did Brisbane offer him?

2) Did he get my letters?

3) Who does he look up to as a leader and a role model at Carlton? 8)

4) Is the step up in training harder or easier than he expected it to be?

None in person yet DB, so can't help you out. They've been 'please call in 2-3 hour' requests but have asked to do the remainders in person.

Was he asked where he stands on the Potato Scallops/Potato Cakes debate?

If the truth is known, they should be called 'potato fritters' as that is what they really are and it would solve all arguments. However, the people here in NSW calling them 'scallops' ........... what the hell are they thinking ?? Next they'll be trying to tell you that they were grown in 'an octopus's garden in the shade'.

You must be wrong then :P

That's a good interview on young Blackers there. Pleased to see he was a CFC boy even though he was saturated by WC rubbish too. :-D

I am a big wrap for this guy.Has good hands is tough and has good vision.Needs to work on his kicking a bit.Played senior footy in the WAFL in 2004 and a good grounding in the magoos in 2005 should stand him in good stead.

I reckon his kicking is his best bit, either side, hits passes. Its his bulk and pace that he needed to work on. Good to see a reminder from the Club that its not just this years draftees we should get excited about, they should get Hartless and Russell up. Oops, Hartlett.

DB, I'd say with yesterday's Murphy article and today's Kennedy that there won't be any more interviews. The club doesn't like to swamp the kids, and I guess we only get to interview those that no one else wants to!

Sorry to hear about Harry, really am.

I cant believe that I am actually doing this but I am actually going to back "The Sheik" on this, they should indeed be called "fritters".

But as you know Sheik we didn't realise we were in something big at the time did we.
