Terrific win today, great atmosphere.
Hard to believe this is the same team from earlier this year.
Loving footy at the moment, I could get used to this.

Terrific 4 quarter effort

Every player is going about their job knowing ever other player is doing the same.

Team Synergy is developing.

Crows got some slingshot goals in the first quarter but we adjusted well. Once it become a contested football game, we had complete control.
They couldn't take a contested mark in F50, so every long bomb was a win for the Blues defence.
Our forward pressure was excellent.
There were patches when they had us under the pump but we had this game in the bag except for Eleni and her mates. Shocking umpiring display.
She is as bad as any umpire has been, but on a weekly basis.
Besides Dow, it's hard to think of anyone that didn't pay their role.

Setters is developing beautifully. People had to remember he started this season on 2 games.

Gibbons also becoming a valuable contributor. Great link man.

Eleni back in the Magoos next week hopefully. :donk:
Surely the AFL won’t subject us to her sub-standard (ie crap) dumpiring two weeks in a row.

Fantastic team effort led by Sir Patrick of Carlton . Thought Walsh did some amazing things down back (standing in the hole a couple of times and could've been smashed ). and for a first year player he is unreal . So many positive signs .Well done boys. Enjoy these wins , you deserve them . GO BLUES . Watched it with my grandson on the telly , great afternoon . Unfortunately he's not a blues supporter, been brainwashed by his grandmother ( nannys boy ), but he does enjoy watching the blues with me .

May I say Mrs Teddy was a 'woods supporter when we were going out but I showed her the error of her ways.

Our grandkids don't know any other colour but blue.

Be a man.

They won! The boys won! Yep they won! I am ecstatic of course. As mentioned in the pre-game thread, my first time back at the holy grail that is the MCG in years. Travelled from Canberra and it was absolutely worth it! Sitting in the members reserve and the atmosphere was electric! When setters nailed that clutch snap in the last qtr I was beside myself with emotion and shed a little tear. Outstanding win!

However that win almost got stolen away with the most horrificly appalling one sided umpiring I have ever seen. Ffing disgraceful.

Magnificent game by the boys everyone contributed and it was another 4qtr effort.

I'm absolutely delirious with happiness right now! Thanks again to gro, bg and franc with the tips on pubs and transport. Love your work

Well done Rocky. You made it happen.
:thanks: and Great Ex too of course.

Did anyone see on the news that she got engaged to one of the boundary umpires after the game, he proposed in the middle of the ground.
Still a shit umpire.

I'd imagine they'll get divorced within three years so she's got that one wrong too.

Don't know about that.Thought she was OK..................Reckon Brett Roseberry had a shocker.Roseberry aint a bad umpire but he crucified us at critical stages today. It was like he was single handedly trying to arrest the momentum away from us.

Unless someone else used it earlier, it came to me when I was whinging about Eleni and her mates.

All good Mickstar. Just trying to take the P155. I’m suffering from winners’ fatigue after 3 in a row.
Was a great day. Cheers.

Could only watch the first half before heading to the WCE North game with mates.

Can’t wait to watch the replay, IQ set.

We sacked Bolts on my bday. Can’t put in to words how depressed I was. Rock bottom with genuine fear and despair for the future of our club.

I simply can’t believe the turnaround 7 games later. Completely incredible.

It’s like the entire club has been reborn. Like we’ve FINALLY turned the corner and will no longer be the perennial cellar dwellars and competition laughing stock. Like we will actually get some reward for the utter pain we’ve had to endure since our most recent rebuild. Like we have a legitimately positive immediate future to look forward to. Like we are gaining some respect back from the competition.

Our whole vibe has changed. I’m sure we all feel it. Tough finish to the season but thoroughly enjoying what we’ve achieved recently and actually looking forward to games. Here’s hoping we can snag another win or 3 before the year is out.
