Athorn, i think a kid like Russell needs a few games played where he will get touches.
Nothing beats a young kid playingand getting touches to pick up confidence .
russell was drafted because we believed he was a good player.
To make it means he will need belief.

Its hard to find belief in yourself when youre tagging Leon Davis and he is hiding in the forward pocket.

We need to have belief in him so he can get belief in himself and become an AFL footballer.

I also think youd find most VFL watchers would have picked Simmo as an AFL standard player...

Well all the ones i went to the VFL did anyway...
