Yup going into the bye with two consecutive win would be great momentum for 2nd part of season, just last week it would have been inconceivable.

Hope we start the game like we finished the last!

It could be a case of do we go in with big heads after a win, or do the dogs go in half asleep after the bye

This would usually be the game we "just expected it to happen" and would get embarrassed.

A good test for whether this 'revival' is fair dinkum.

Actually iirc teams often drop a game post bye?
I'd say we have the momentum and the advantage.

Momentum and advantage, two words that have been used in a sentence at Carlton in a long time

The Dogs are still warm favourites with the bookmakers.
I certainly don't "expect" us to win.
We are a good chance if we play like we did last week.

Reckon the Blues are a massive chance here with the energy and enthusiasm of a coach allowing players to play to their strengths and a huge come-from-behind gutsy win. Ed to stick in the middle and put a hard tag on Bont. his bro needs to unleash from where he left off, Walshy and Gibbons to keep running through the guts, Murph could go to Fwd pocket. O'Brien out for Murphy

I don't expect the Bulldogs to play like they did last time we met.
A big challenge this week, to back it up.

I’m anticipating a massive let down. Have been burnt too many times by this team.

Irrelevant cause he's not Penski material

I know there is talk of Murphy as the straight swap for the injured O'Brien (Penski notwithstanding) but what about Stocker.

Irrespective of Melbourne's display today I still think we are the worst kicking team in the competition and Stocker I reckon is already our best field kick. If we have a better one I would like to know.

Murphy and Stocker okay but who do you drop after this week's performance?

Newman played a great game despite his usual mistake or two.

Simmo was quiet but you would never drop Simmo.

Plowman? But he appears to be a favoured son.

SPS despite his detractors I believe is motoring along nicely if not great.

Dow? Again motoring along but not doing the spectacular things.

So maybe I answered my question. There isn't room for both Murphy and Stocker. Shame.

Favoured son? Maybe the fact he shut down Brisbanes in-form forward might have something to do with it.

That’s irrelevant ...

Win this and we move above Melbourne on the ladder (for at least a week anyway) and probably Gold Coast (assuming they lose to St Kilda).
