Teague as coach of the Bullants was fairly quiet and positive, and took the 2009 / 2010 list to the VFL grand final.

Remember, he had these blokes to work with:

Chris Johnson, Richard Hadley, Robert Warnock, Brad Fisher, Steven Browne, Setanta Ó hAilpín, Paul Bower, Rhys O'Keeffe, Mark Austin, Shaun Hampson, Adam Hartlett, Joe Anderson, Dennis Armfield
Cameron Cloke, Jordan Bannister, Caleb Tiller, Jake Edwards, Darren Pfeiffer, Lachie Hill, Luke Stanton, Aaron Joseph, David Ellard, Greg Bentley

Wasn’t Casboult in those teams as well?

Casboult wasn't drafted until 2010, so he may have featured in Teague's last year at the Bullants.

Casboult was in the rookie draft of 2009. So 2010 was his first year. Think it was the 2011 VFL finals where Casboult really made a mark. Teague did get the best out of him.

Teague was an assistant at WCE in 2011.

Interesting coaching moves... 'more support for Barker in the midfield'

????

I think they have shuffled a couple of the assistants around; Bruce becomes the forward coach (replacing Teague) and Stanton goes from development coach to midfield assistant (replacing Bruce in that role). Effectively, Bolts’ departure has led to promotions for Teague and Stanton.

Midfield coach - "Get the ball and Kick it to a forward"

Forward Coach - " Mark the ball kicked from the midfielder"

Simple

Just our luck he'll do really well and look to have the goods, but we've already decided on another coach.

So what was Malthouse then?
The false prophet who would lead us to temptation?

And Bolts.... ?
The smiling assassin who would fail the test of faith?

Does the prophecy say that Synbad will return when the moon is in the right phase and all the stars are aligned over Princes Park?

So the new young coach is the one that brings us the 17th.

He will appear to most as a rather uninspired choice.

But he will have special qualities that are at first, only known to a few.

All I can say is that I think there might be a 'M' in this mans surname.

But I can tell you about the circumstances of what I believe will be the year of our 17th flag.
