Mm.
No animals will be hurt during the cull.
Leave Horse out of it.

And why do you think Craig Mathieson is next Prez? Pretty sure it's common knowledge that Luke Sayers will be taking it on.

There's a rich uncle on the Gold Coast who might have a say in that. Not convinced Luke has the time...still - it's 3 years away.

I don't believe SOS has done Bolton any favours and he's been the fall guy for the duration of our midfield but today spells the end unfortunately.
You cant have 50 inside 50's for a match and score 4 goals.
We played a spare in defence and allowed Heppell to control the game in a midfield sweepers role. As a result a relatively poor midfield scored 5 goals from clearances.

The apparent lack of appreciation of the small forward role by the list managers really bit the coaches on the arse today.
I feel for Bolts because he endured the hard times coaching an unbalanced team that was more intent on accumulating talent instead of acquiring a team that could remain competitive during the rebuild. SOS took the right approach but it was a hardline approach that was every chance of being a coach killer.
And it appears it's turned out that way.
Frustrating as we were killed by Heppel all day. Saw Ed go to Merrett and thought we may have turned a coaching corner but the Heppel situation and the lack of cover for Essendon*'s spread was glaring.... Right from the get go....
Nothing seemed to get done... FFS he got about 4 possessions in the first 5 minutes!!

BTW Bolt's presser today is total BS...... Capping on... Aren't the reporters smart enough? He gets asked about our midfield rotations in one of the games we've rotated plenty through... Well how did that go against North and even Saints?...
Strategies, moves have been frustrating or non existent....

Go Blues

So who appointed SOS

LoGuidice. I haven't given up on that appointment just yet. It's not too late to play a weak hand strong.

Yeah but why recruit Lang Kennedy Fasolo Plowman etc
It’s not just about a balanced list
It’s about recruiting good Sos hasn’t other than around 10 or so with high draft picks
The list manager is more important than the head coach
Don’t give jobs to mates

I agree. And I'm not someone who just kisses the arse of blokes because they were 'Carlton through and through'. I think his recruiting has been pretty bloody good, TBH.

We have a Board problem and a Coach problem. The later has been allowed to fester because of the former.

Gone.

Significant disagreement about approach / development has been festering for a few weeks amongst upper echelons of the club.

The 4 week block of games starting vs Saints were crucial for BB's tenure. Shown nothing, will not survive. Great citizen, great inspirer of u oung men re life skills. No hard edge whatsoever. Real shame, very good person, not right person for these times at this club.

Won't survive past the bye.

Thanks.
It is tough being a Carlton supporter right now, something has to change.

Some good news at least.
I am starting to worry about Cripps, his body language suggests he is frustrated ( and so he should be).
Any news on any new re-signings? Cuningham for instance.

Where is the surprise good selection like Kade Simpson was?

SOS had every pick at GWS and thought that his choices were pristine. We don't have Hoskin-Elliott; Collingwood does.

Bolton has to go but I am tired of the protection of SOS.

I bet these kids go on the play in a premiership. They can play. The sooner we get rid of the @#$%&! clowns running the club, the sooner we'll start the climb back.

But time will tell.

forget the bye , today should be the end for Bolts , he cant get the best out of the players , do we all remember when cripps debuted and we said wow we have a player , its been 5 years already , and now we have walsh and stocker ( who is going to be hard nut for us ) do we wait another 5 years before we do anything

as my mate said to me , he has never left a game ever and goes to all the blues interstate games including the Port Debacle of a few years ago , I have had enough and we left halfway thru the last quarter and hes not sure if he will go next week

What does our club stand for anymore ,

regards

a shattered blues man today
